How old are you? I have had heated up discussions with Tamil friends reagarding these issue. After hte indepence Sri Lanka had a lot of colonial problmes like majority of governemnt servents were Tamils, lesser representation for Sinhalese in the parliment, and better education in Jaffna etc. Then there was a Sinhalese movement to gain lost glory.
