  • LONDON 1989!

  • Much better than that wanky Manufactured 'group' Liberty X rip off shite.

It was this tune & Summer Madness by Fresh Prince, that made Long warm evenings great...

  • 90s women were sexy

  • 11 OUT OF 10.

  • mantronix is totally best version, liberty X don't compare....dot com

  • Mantronix .. King of he Beats

  • Back to the good days this was a great tune. Timeless!!! Check out 'Don't go messin with your heart' too. Great, great, great...

  • who was the girl @ 2.10........ omg she is beautiful x

  • @crazytailmale , which one? The one with the big pretty ass afro is Sophie Okenedo?

  • @crazytailmale , if that is who you're talking about I've been in love with her for a minute. She's Nigerian and British like Sade and she is also an excellent actress.

  • this has one of the sickest basslines ever! Ah, nearly forty now, defintiely in my top 50 records of all time!

  • just listening to this tune makes me smile, remembering the good times (still have good times now, but not the same), the friends long lost, the clubs long gone...............happy days!!

  • Haha I remember that classic central (ITV) logo .. U can see a lot of creativity went into designing that lol!!

  • @HouseSteppaJuice Well not many ways of making a good old central logo without messing it up. I made it myself and am happy with it. It's a cross between a central cake and moon ident. :-)

  • Brilliant!!!!! nearly 39 but this is still up with the best tunes ever!!!

If you like this tune then you know what I mean if you dont, stand back and let the wrinklies enjoy.

  • what to do dont forget to fight your rights before you become a cabbage in a bag with a rag cough hard

  • music then was for you too dance, not lean on the wall and look angry like they do now >(

  • top top top top tune

  • class

  • Damn! That is one hell of a funky bassline! ;)

  • at least 20 years later and this track is still great

  • ah the radio version, with the cleaner, snappier snare... much better than the 12" club version.

  • didn't realise just how good the music back then was compared to some of the pony out there today!

    I need a time machine!!!!!!

  • wow this is good :) thnx 4 uploadin this.

  • one of the best tunes ever made this real toe tapper!! brilliant

  • Huuuuugggee tune from back in the day. Peep a young Naomi Campbell in the vid !

  • I posted on this Classic over 11 monts ago. I am still hitting this video up on the Regular. I am now 41 and still LOVING this JOINT from High School. I played it for my Brother whom is a Year older then I and he was tripping. The time line of where we were and where we are, we both have kids and are married...LOL And POP said we were gonna DIE in the HOOD because we were CRAZY. NO POP WE WERE JUST TEENAGERS!!!!!

  • Goosebumps...Forgotten about this gem....Wow..

  • This is a MASSIVE tune to work out to. EVERY type of workout. ;P

  • now i'm turning on arrested developpement tennessee... so good too the best period 1992...

  • mantronix is a legend that should be up there with james brown for his vision ,underrated big time ,

  • @roxfoot

Yeah, it's as good as soul to soul. What a shame this kind music isn't made anymore, and i hate those 80/90's party's that are being held everywhere, because they all play the wrong shit from those decades, so someone should find some old dj's who know their stuff, and what we want to hear, and that ain't 99 luftbaloons from nena or combodia from kim wilde, or other crap like that.

  • @3DPeter i think it was plato that said eberything in society has to be controlled from the top down ,and the powers that be studied all that shit while we was scratchin out a living ,i actually recall"the day the music died" like the song ,straight out of comton was everything hip hop was not and i smelled corporation all over it ,twas downhill from there

  • Taking me back to when life and music was sweet! x

  • Liberty who ?

  • Heard this 20 years ago, picked up alot of music since then. But this tune is still siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!!!

  • tunnneeeeeeee! Is that Felix Howard in the video!? What became of these guys .they were the bomb

  • Whoaah ! That was really good music!

Try to find Mantronix`s "Who is it" That will blow you up!!

  • the 80's love it!!

  • I love this song. It reminds me of my brother who died aged 27 in May 1999. The most amaxing person I have ever known and always there when I needed him. R.I.P bro xxxx

  • I remember loving this song and the vibe in the video!!! This was around the time Naomi Campbell was supposed to be dating Mike Tyson, Lol. Didn't realise that was Sophie Okonedo...

  • Thanks for a fantastic dance down memory lane! Like looking in a mirror 25 years ago!

  • first time i heard it whe it came out.never forgot the beat.

  • what a brill beat all electronica smooth on the cheese

  • Damn I'd given anything to go back to those long hot careless summer days before 911, bills, this retarded economy. During a time of optimism and when the citizens of this country were a little happier. Things are so messed up nowadays.

  • New music trys so hard to be bad, but even old 'cheesy' songs like this blow them out of the water.

  • @cheekyleopard "cheesy"?? i think you need to be looking to justin bieber for your cheese rations not here.. lol!

  • Sophie Okonedo and Naomi Campbell (pre-fame?) in this video

  • love the afro in this vid

  • Liberty x's version sounds good it's what lead me to the original song, however this song seems to have a stronger vibe, with the singing, which imo makes this version sound better.

  • Good old days, love it!!

  • Takes you back to the early morning parties of the 80's ( Great Time!!! ) when around 3 - 4am these were the tunes you got close to someone!!!!

1- Mantronix,, Got to have your love

2- Evelyn champaynr king,, Kisses don't lie

3- Joanna Gardner,,, Pick up the pieces

  • loveeeeee it..

  • Very liberty x...hmm thing u got that 1 wrong :-)...maybe the other way round ;-)

  • @thekungfoomunk Liberty X is a cover version. :-)

  • @thekungfoomunk Fuckin 'ell!!! Someone said that???

  • @thekungfoomunk not liberty x they copied it this is the original 1980s !!!!

  • Whoa!! Freshman year 1990 for me @ H.U. Oh yeah, Hampton U, the real H.U.!!!

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH SHIT!!!!! MY JAM!!!!

  • This group was sooo dope.

  • mantronix in full effect genius

  • Very LibertyX.

  • @Gottabejoking1

I would LOVE to see that!

  • @Gottabejoking1 im 17 & im dancing to it now....your early days of music are soo inspirational, you got so many more years to admire it (;

  • @cjlewiscccc That's a fantastic thing to say!! You're 17? You have spoken like a God.

  • @Gottabejoking1 good on you, dancing and laughter are 2 of the main things to keep us young! dance and laugh as often as possible :)

  • @Gottabejoking1 , I'm 52 and still a House Head and Free Style mad man. Still love to dance my self into a coma. Let's face it fam. Coming up from the 80's until around 2007 it seemed as if everything that dropped was bangin.' Now you have to search for underground artist and artist that are still getting down but not getting the air play like Rakim and Kool G Rap. If we let those in the us congress and senate pass SOPA we can kiss the internet and all this good music good-bye.

  • I heard this on Wkys this morning lol. I love this song Mantronix was sick back in the day.

  • Mantronix was way before his time.....

  • Top Fcukin drawer

  • Mantronix, let me see in my Playlist with Lps !

  • This was good R&B not the bull crap I hear today

  • @blackmanta07

    This is hip hop/Dance

not R&B. R&B means Rithem And Blues. So it is a sub genre from the blues music

this is more like Hip Hop/Dance music :)

  • Naomi Campbell looking so shy and innocent in this music video!

  • Mantronix COME THE FUCK BACK!

  • I own this single it is sitting in a box surrounded by Curiosity killed the cat and Billy Ocean singles and all my youthful aspirations lol.

  • for all you young cats out there, I have the pleasure of telling y'all that this song was a club banger back then. Tearing the clubs like all fun depended on it.
