I have made a few of those and use them for our 2 ultralight set-ups. I have day packs with lighter systems, but the crazy kitchen is definitely light enough for 3-5 day pack-outs. Thanks for the comment! Peace.
Good question. After I get back from Mt. Cheaha, I plan on redoing this video (poor lighting) and begin posting some easy but satisfying and tasty recipes. Thanks for the astute comment! Peace.
Can see the stuff. Darn. Please make the videos with a lot more light on the subject. Couldn't see the Keg wood burning stove either because too dark. Good stuff you have there.
I didn't eat them. I put them out at Halloween as some of the party candy, they were gone by the end of the party. I won't eat them though, nasty tasting. Peace.
You've hooked yourself up! Looks like you have it all covered. Like yourself I prefer to build my own gear as well. Great video. Thanks for mentioning the Heiny coffee perc. Look forward to seeing your version of it.
Thanks for the comment, man. I enjoy little projects that make future excursions easier or more enjoyable. Some pieces of equipment can't be made with the tools I own, but I will make what I can. Never go into battle with an untested weapon. Peace.
I agree 100% man, which is why I made one a few days ago and am making coffee this morning on it! Drak was kind enough to hook me up on some of the materials and technique. In my opinion, that particular design is one of the most innovative backpacking designs I have seen in a looooong time. All props to Drak on it! Peace.
Love that! I have a crazy kitchen coming today or tomorrow, going to try it with my choke hazard :o)

I apologize. I now have better lighting, so any future videos done indoors should be better. Peace.

I have to ask ... how bad were those lifesavers you got for the lid? The kids would not even touch them here, ended up throwing them away.

I just asked for 2, my keg mugs will be all pimped out! Try wrapping your keg in exhaust manifold Heat wrap to insulate your drink longer...

Good idea! I use Reflectix for the cozies, but I will have to give the heat wrap a try. Thanks for the tip! Peace.
