@callmeshane303 It's interesting how every corporation has a culture. Looking at Monsanto's history, one could be excused for thinking that their business plan involved rejecting any idea that is not downright evil. That may not be an entirely fair characterisation, but Monsanto worked hard for the opinion I have of them.
Any chance of reposting the vids in a higher quality? Sure they can be emailed etc, but burning them onto DVD's for redistribution, at a "proper" video quality would be good too.
Con't from my last post ... Talking about the health issues would do more to create an outcry that could get rid of GMOs altogether and farmers would be able to continue using their own seed as well. People relate more to health issues than farmers using their own seed as important as that is. If GMOs were outlawed in North America, we would not have to worry about labeling. Thank you for speaking out but learning more about GMOs has just made me sick that this is happening. Keep it up!
Thank you, Percy for a great education. You seem to be hesitant to tell us too much about the GMO food health issues. Instead you are fighting for farmers to use their own seed with which I agree. But what good will their own seed be if it is contaminated with GMOs? You need to talk about what GMOs do to peoples' health to get more people behind your efforts because most people relate to better to health since most are not farmers. Continued in my next post......
I tell you, if I worked for Monsanto I'd be afraid to go out of my house for fear of someone killing me. If I worked for Monsanto I'd be afraid of being captured and tortured and if I were lucky they'd kill me. No sir you couldn't pay me to work for Monsanto not ethically or for my own safety and the safety of my family. good site is soisnessdotorg.
Goog GAWD, Percy! The 'Genie' is out of the bottle, & you're worried about farmer's rights??? The amount of farmland in the Canadian prairies could feed the whole world. Instead, there is a famine looming because they have contaminated it. So, farmer's are awarded their 'rights' back from the Supreme Court of Canada to farm contaminated soil. Are you going to jump for joy? I'm sure that victory would be practically pointless.
We need to label our foods here, too. Link TV did a documentary on Monsanto a couple of years ago. Japan would not allow these products in their country. We need to stop buying here. We need to sue Monsanto for this crap being in our food supply.
Schmeiser settled his lawsuit with Monsanto. Monsanto agreed to pay all clean-up costs of the Roundup Ready canola that contaminated Schmeiser's fields. Part of the agreement was that there was no gag-order on the settlement and that Monsanto could be sued again if further contamination occurred. Schmeiser believes this precedent setting agreement ensures farmers will be entitled to reimbursement when their fields become contaminated with unwanted Roundup Ready canola or any other GMO plants.
We need to go back to hemp and boycott the petrochemical companies.
There are so many tentacles to the GovCorps that we need to get a broader education for a broader understanding.
Realize Government seeks to grow and expand it's power and control whenever possible. It adds more permits, licenses and fines as it extracts more wealth from the working class to support it's corrupted policies. It never relaxes or repeals a law.
Think about pot and do some research as a prime example of the lies.
@Slavesrevolt ...We need to write new laws ourselves and have them presented and passed. We need to demand change of this corrupt system but we must not only ask for change but must be prepared to say what that change would entail. Btw, if we gave gov't the right to collect taxes on the sale of pot, it would have been decriminalized long ago. I'm not a pot smoker but marijauna is a God-given plant. Who is the govt to outlaw a plant when God said we could have it? Is the gov bigger than God?
The greatest difficulty in labeling is political will (or balls, if you prefer). GMO content is not an issue. There are places in the world with labelling laws - I happen to be in one at the moment. There is no trouble because, despite propaganda attempts, no one will buy anything with GMOs in it. If 90% of the food contained GMOs, they'd restrict themselves to buying the remaining 10%.
@TonyKaku ...Thank you, Tony for posting these videos. What an enlightenment! I have always wondered why people are fighting for labeling when we should be fighting to get rid of GMOs in North America altogether. We should fight for laws that prohibit the patenting or even producing these plants (and animals). A man once wrote that if you jump hoping to clear the fence, you might make it but if you shoot to clear the moon, you will at least clear the tree tops ...applies here, I think.
I agree. I have lived in Japan for more than a decade (my wife is still there for now), and there GM soy and canola must be labeled. Supermarket chains there won't carry the stuff because no one will buy it.
The people who run Monsanto are so incredibly STUPID, and so incredibly GREEDY.

what needs to happen ans an Anti-Trust lawsuit from the governments, that might solve this
and geting everything in america lebled for this would be impossable.. 90% of food contains GMO's in one form or another
