When Springsteen first came out no self-respecting rock and roller (not "rock" - but "rock and roll") would be caught dead listening to a cheese ball like Bruce Springsteen. Still not a fan of his music, but I must say that I have a new appreciation for the man, as a poet, if nothing else. Speaking of innovators of music - John fits this description to a tee because he did what very few have ever done - he came up with an entirely different sound.

Roy took a few notes with him..But it's there between the two of them...That echo of Roy's voice...ping-ponging back and forth...Springsteen's lost his low register..but his voice is in good form this night..Forgarty suprising and nice tremolo bits...As a musician,myself, you get that sense of feelingthat Springsteen is going through here..You know it, and you can do it, but you ask yourself, "Will they give me that note"?
