  • A one

  • It's a brave man indeed who attempts to sing in the "Key of Roy".

  • these guys can't even hold a candle to the great Roy! He was the best and these guys are just pretenders!

  • The Boss & John Fogerty!!!! Doesn't get Much Better :)

  • go bruce...go bruce...

  • truely one of the greatest songs ever recorded no age limits our is it this or that it is PRETTY WOMAN....................

  • silvio dante on the guitar!!

  • You don't get to see this too often!!!

  • When Springsteen first came out no self-respecting rock and roller (not "rock" - but "rock and roll") would be caught dead listening to a cheese ball like Bruce Springsteen. Still not a fan of his music, but I must say that I have a new appreciation for the man, as a poet, if nothing else. Speaking of innovators of music - John fits this description to a tee because he did what very few have ever done - he came up with an entirely different sound.

  • ah bruce. and john. and this song. guess i'm in love haha :D

  • come on john!!!

  • nice to hear Bruce singing without his shouting, scratchy voice. he has a lovely voice. !

  • John kinda sounds like Orbison now

  • Terrific

  • I agree Roy would be proud of the take off that John and Bruce did

  • anybody out there have john and neil youngs performance from the veitnam vet

    tribute circa 1993.

  • roy would be proud these two manage to really bring this song justice! didn't think they could~

  • You say Bruno Mars, I say Guns'n Roses

You say Hannah Montana, I say Aerosmith

You say Owl City, I say Bon Jovi

You say Jonas Brothers, I say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, I say AC/DC

You say Justin Bieber, I say Fuck You

95% of teens these days listen to the same formulaic, crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die!

  • @Rolandkanu

Please don't fill the comment threads with spam like this. It's annoying. I come to listen to music, not hear people complaining about Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift.

  • @USAdude30 GAAAY!

  • john sounds better

  • I think it's a testament to Roy's marvellous voice that it takes Bruce Springsteen AND John Fogerty sharing the mike to do him justice.

  • If Rock N Roll Heaven is like this...I'm ready to go

  • Nailed it!

  • Yes goose bumps ..i agree!!

  • wow very good

  • fogerty does awesome back vocal

  • john and bruce are great together, damn.

  • I hate it when the sound of my lapto is that soft!

  • why does bruce sweat so much. he is even nickednamed 'swamp pants'cause his pants get so wet from sweat.

  • It's so great to see those tow great rockers singing together this f*ckin' good song!

  • que maestros!

  • Hottest men in show biz.

  • Comment removed

  • They are still hot :)

  • Sem imagem?!...porquê?

  • That's the best version!!!! <3 <3 <3

  • Yep, that's Max on drums! Great version!

  • wow John does an amazing orbison

  • is that Max Weinberg?

  • @toypajns182 ya hes been apart of the E-street since the beginning.

  • Since when are Liberals pro-war? That's the stupidest thing I ever heard.

  • This is even better. Agh! U-tube.

  • JOHN. C. FOGERTY the very best !!!!

  • they should do an album and a tour together!

  • No, John is the best, but Bruce is one of the best :)

  • Seen him play it in Munich. Great cover

  • This kicks ass!

  • the drum at the beggining reminds me of know your enemy haha

  • f*cking drummer.. the classic version was just fine, not need to change anything.

Bruce and john are fking legends.

  • I believe the ones that dislike this are examples of todays utes!

  • @carmital People who click dislike on this Fogerty vid are liberal pro-war idiots who support Obama and Bush's wars in the middle east where the U.S. spends billions to invade and brutally occupy sovereign nations where we force them to accept democracy as a form of government at the expense of our taxpayers and the cost of countless lives of innocent U.S. soldiers and civilians. Real Americans know the U.S. should spend that money to create new jobs and take care of America first!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Grinning from ear to ear, :)

  • This is brilliant. xD

  • John sang this song when he came to Argentina. I couldn't believe it, it was SO GOOD. I love him. And Bruce too. I wish he came down here sometime

  • MERCY!!!

  • Bruce, THE BEST !

  • @Ilona9714 love the faces his makes lol

  • Nice job, guys!!!

  • Cупер!!!

  • ik,kan,niets,plaatsen

  • johns still got it

    bruce will never lose it

long live ccr and the e streat band

  • first of all :) BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN IS GOOD ON HIS OWN :) doing a Roy Orbison song :)

but then to have JOHN FOGERTY?? WHAT A COOL COMBO

  • Tämä on kyllä yliveto kaikista. Vois kuunnella loputtomiin:)

  • At what point did Bruce Springsteen start speaking with a southern drawl? =]

  • When Bruce says "mercy" - with that smile on his face you can tell he's been wanting to do that for ages. I really like this performance. It's amazing how Fogerty's voice sounds similar to Orbison in some parts.

  • DVD do 25° aniversário do Hall da Fama do Rock: eu recomendo!

  • Simplesmente maravilhosa a versão do clássico "Pretty Woman" do Roy Orbinson, Tema de "Uma Linda Mulher" nas vozes de 'Jhon Forgerty' Ex-Creedence Clearwater Revival e o "Professor ' Bruce Springsteen'

  • this is a great song which is a great tribute to "pretty women"

  • Van Halen did a pretty good job with it as well and had a great intro to it

  • Bruce Springsteen ! Hola ! speak and fluent Spanish. Viva la vida loca. But I am fluent english/ To each it's own.

  • tom's voice fits the song. roy would be proud.

    RIP Roy

  • Comment removed

  • @roxydog2004

i meant john fogerty. tom was his brother.

  • Bruce has a much better voice than John.

  • Two of the greatest still alive... I love both... :)

  • I think Roy would love it. Such an energy, such great voices, Bruuuce and John together for Roy in heaven... Amazing!!!!

  • @BassGerd Agree...Roy'd be honored.

  • HOME RUN!

Quel pied !

  • the only thing missing from this version is orbison's trademark 'rrrrrrrrrrr'

  • alee

  • opaa

  • esari saqmei tqven maqana unda iyot da me aqanaa?

  • @AxlMidas Fogerty would disagree with you

  • @officernikos Yes he probably would. But then again John Fogerty is a humble kind of guy..!!

  • @AxlMidas ;) they are both great fella and even if you don't want us to call Bruce the Boss you can't say he sucks ;) have a nice day

  • Roy took a few notes with him..But it's there between the two of them...That echo of Roy's voice...ping-ponging back and forth...Springsteen's lost his low register..but his voice is in good form this night..Forgarty suprising and nice tremolo bits...As a musician, myself, you get that sense of feelingthat Springsteen is going through here..You know it, and you can do it, but you ask yourself, "Will they give me that note"?

  • Love it!!!

  • @TheClairedalton You're obviously a talentless moron who doesen't deserve an answer, but there you go. You obviously haven't got a clue about singing or music for that matter. Idiot!

  • John Fogerty is incredible. Bruce Springsteen needs voice lessons. Boy does he SUCK.

  • @TheClairedalton So do you, dicklover!

  • @TheClairedalton Guess you know more about Tinkerbelle than about music

  • If I could've picked to distinct voices in rock and roll to cover this song, it would be John and Bruce. Roy would've been honored.

  • These 2 missed their calling in the studio. What harmony!

  • Roy Orbison forever!

  • JF blows BS off big time here

  • Only John Fogerty is qualified to sing this song with Bruce!

  • Only John Fogerty is qualified to sing this song with Bruce!

  • i love fogerty's voice on this one

  • This has to be one of the biggest happenings in music history...

  • Bruce always has such a great time performing. It warms my heart seeing someone who enjoys what he does so thoroughly.

  • J C Fogerty. (Jesus Christ)

  • I grew up oistening to Roy and he is a hero of mine too,,and dang Bruce and John, you made roy proud...I got goose bumps !!!! (sigh)

  • @ILoveLucyE68NY I couldn't agree more! Great job!

  • In some places John sounds (either intentionally or unintentionally) just a little like Roy

  • @Farkelu That would be because he can sing! #LOL# My thoughts are...Orbison=singer, Fogarty=singer, Springsteen=entertainment master!

  • awesome , both are aging but can still croon with the best.

  • amazing... ;)

  • Max Weinberg on the drums rocks!

  • @szooereo WHERE'S CONAN????????

  • Bruce sings from whole heart...thanks for this great song!!!

  • this song makes me smile

  • LOVE IT !!!!

  • No one can come even close to the big "0"

  • @malcjow Fortunately that is in no way what Springsteen or Fogerty pretended by performing this tribute.

  • @malcjow .............and both of them know that waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than you and I. This is what is called a tribute, genius.

  • John Fogerty's done Roy's voice really well

  • MAN HE'S HOT!

  • @ Luvmyrexy Oui, je l'aime beaucoup

  • Really wonderful tribute to Roy Orbison.

  • this was a sick ass concert. wish aerosmith, guns n roses, robert plant and jimmy page were there

  • @Dyeballer610

    they were.

  • i watched this concert like 4 times, none of them were performing

  • @Dyeballer610

They didn't perform, but they were in attendance.

  • y wouldnt earosmith or robert plant perform? their by far more famous and popular then half of the people that did perform

  • @Dyeballer610

wasnt steven still in rehab by that point? you can't have aerosmith there without him

  • guns n roses aint in the rock and roll hall of fame bro

  • i never said they were

  • GREAT!

  • a nice duo they are the best!!!

  • best guitar riff / intro ever

  • The best rock singer/songwriters in history playing together awesome. Thanks for sharing this, did they perform a

the whole show together as its BS band behind them

  • It is (in any case) instantly recognisable! Very nice riff, indeed!

    /cheers

p.s. I would probably tip the intro to Enter Sandman over this, though (but I'm a Metallica fan! hehe!)

  • I have a question, Bruce is crying? i can see a little tear..

  • That's sweat genius!!!!!!!!!

  • corr279 - No need to be insulting. It was a legitimate question. Sheez!

  • No, that is sweat. He is sweating profusely. But notice Fogerty. The guy isn't human. He doesn't sweat. We saw him twice in the last ten years. Front row. The man sang hard and long for 2 1/2 hours and NEVER broke a sweat! Who does that? lol

    Both are excellent performers!!

  • I saw John in 2007 and he rocked the place for 2 hours and didn't break sweat that night either,he is superhuman

:S somebody can tell me what it bruce says before he begin singing?PD: BRUCEE YOU ARE MY ROCK HERO!!!

  • this "mercy" kills me!

  • Me tooo!! haha! "Mercy !"

  • @Larrayne not only you :D

  • Whaw, what a beautiful evening ! TV and me the concert 'Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ......'

    Fantastic ......

  • This evening I saw on TV : the concert Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ; it was so nice , so amazing .... So .........

  • Now this is totally awsome. I love how John and Bruce voices sound together.

    I love it !

And covering a song does not mean you have to copy it !!

Every musician has his or her own style which you can still hear when they cover a song.

  • Heard that song live in Munich, back then Bruce was amazing, especially because they did practise the song and talked about how to play and how the lyrics are. Amazing Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce

  • Loveee u Bruceee!.. u're sexy!

  • The Boss can sing ANY genre...he is a legend genius.
