There's a way to get more chances, but that only works in the first stage of the game. If you time your jump right, you can get as many lives as possible while getting points from the red koopa. But you'll have to make sure to keep an eye on the clock displayed at the top right corner of the screen. Accidents are sure to occur

I used to play this when I was five or six for the SNES. It was part of the Mario All Stars game which were 16-bit overhauls of this one. I started with this one because it would save what level you were playing even if you lost all your lives.

I just founded out on wikipedia for wii that wii wasn;t made by Nintendo like the old consoles were it was made by Foxconn not Nintendo then. So wii isn't part of Nintendo it just says that then but its not. Wii sucks NES N64 and SNES rules.

@RedShadow1917 Nintendo didn't want to turn away fans from the series by making it too hard, so they just took 4 sprites (Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad), and inserted them into the game Doki Doki Panic. After doing so they changed the title screen and released it in the US under the name Super Mario Bros. 2. So in reality, Birdo isn't a Mario character. Same goes for Shy Guys. And the US SMB2 is not the real Mario 2.

When a person would press the 1911 tab, the screen would be saturated in a sepia tone, shudder, and grit and scratches would "float' on and off the screen while piano music played. It looked and sounded exactly like a movie from 1911.
