  • this song is one of my music pieces in my voice class..

  • ma'am cheng! u rock!:D

  • eh hindi naman ako yong kumakanta, teka sino po ba naman kayo

  • Bravo! Beautiful natural quality. Breathe deeper, since the phrases are a little short. Some pitch problems in the last section. Take liberty with the values of the notes, since the prosody of kundiman are are awkward sometimes, and the eighth notes shouldn't be so strict -- it sounds choppy and strident. Lots of promise...good luck!

  • very musical indeed!

  • Hijo, lagyan mo naman ng buhay ang pag-awit mo nito..........!!

  • ganyan po talaga ang tenor, di na kailangan pa yoong papikit pikit.

  • ay, kilala kita. LOL

  • really, sinong kilala mo, yong kumakanta.

  • Ikaw nga iyon. tsk tsk tsk

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the singing. You look cute, too.

  • Thanks...

  • com' on man, winning something doesnt makes your voice beautiful in the long term.. well nice voice, it will be more beautiful if you have the PROPER VOCAL TECHNIQUE that the europeans do.. =)

  • how about americans? and the russians? LOL

i know i know... a lot (not all) american trained singers are more concerned about being correct than making music. sad :( the NY times article by anne midgette should be of great interest to you.

  • Dude you are amazing! I wish i had your voice. I don't care about the nasal sound, i think its adds to the character of the song. I think you really can capture European music if you are nasal. Filipino music is very european like anyway.

  • i hate that nasality.. take it off man.. i know someone who has a nasal sound, and he doesnt sing anymore.. you can use nasal sound on some occasions where your low notes cant be heard.. i think, you have a brighter and bigger voice than what you have now.. you sound like light and unsupported on top notes though i can hear that you may sound something greater..

  • ok. thanks for your comment. will work on that. :-)

  • the nasal sound can possibly be an acoustical problem. it's either the hall is tiny or the recording device/camera is not far enough. this is the usual problem with and of opera singers with balance and ring in the voice. (allegedly, flagstad's voice was not very attractive in a small space. most of my opera singing friends who have electrifying voices in a big opera house sound so ugly in a small room. casre in point- karen slack)

  • The nasal sound is the result of covered sound as described by Pavarotti on the video "Pavarotti about covered sound".
