  • LOL youre using glue remover, oil sheen, EVERYTHING lol

  • you need a custom cap. i suggest you watch lovekisses99's application videos

  • LMFAO :))

  • Oh my god! I cringed when you started coming the glue out, I could hear the poor hairs snapping...

  • lmao omg even i have never used lace fronts (yet) nd i KNOW that was complete suicide!

  • Why dont you laser the hairline to create a more natural looking hairline? OR elektric epilation?

  • i am dying, literally tears are rolling down my face. lol

  • I'm confused. Why don't you want your baby hairs showing. That's cute and looks better than these people "creating" baby hairs with the wig.

  • omg!!!!! Good Hair Gone Bad

  • omg

  • lmao me and you and he same exact hairline. it looked super crazy on me too. I leave my egdes out and try my best to blend.

  • I JUST LOVE THIS VIDEOO! you are soo funnyy..am sorry am laughing so hard..i will be using a lace front for the first time soon..and there is no one in where i live to help me apply it..so i hope next time i wont be laughing at myself..ahh you natural hair is beautiful as well!

  • loooooool ur so funny don't use glue..... push it back and pull those low spots out

  • Your hair and hairline are too beautiful to wear a lace front. no ma'am.

  • Hey! Where's my comment I just posted?

  • YOU POOR UNFORTUNATE SOUL!

  • she could of used peanut butter to get it off lol

  • You look like toni braxton :)

  • Thank you for the reality of beauty! Some of us need a little extra. I love the fact that you are willing to ask for help rather than sport a bad look. Kudos to you!

  • why are you asking ppl on the internet? don't u have friends who can help you??

  • You poor lady! I know I would be in the same situation if I got a lace wig. lol I kept watching and was like, "OMG, everything she's doing is something I would do."

  • Oh my gosh this was the best comedy I've seen in long time.

  • Girrrl i know how you feel LOL, My mom gave me my first lace wig 2 months ago. i never looked at tutorials, lol i just assumed you slapped it on your head. No tape no glue no nuttin', omg the lace part was soooooo obvious. I put a head band on and pulled it back to cover up my laced net edges. The wig kept slowly backsliding all day at work and I was terrified at the thought of it plopping to the ground, that wig made me go to the bathroom several times to adjust it- I was in WIG HELL! LOL,

  • I loved this, it was so funny....now we know why so many of these ladies with the lace fronts have no hairline. Some ladies are all foreheads......no hairline at all. Good video even though I'm watching it nearly 2 years later......lol

  • HI!

Just wax it off-Have your hairline done so it will adjust better to your wigs.

I didn't like my hairline either- so I just wax or shave what I don't like - Mostly grey hair in front -couple of hairs that are unruly and out of place anyway -now everything works- ;-)

  • Not too good...

  • U suck...

  • girl i loooove this video cuz i did the EXACT SAME THING!!!!!!!!! lol it was a disaster!

  • Thank you for making a video of how I felt and ended up the first time I tried a lacefront. I'm more confident now....but thanks!

  • Im sorry friend, I feel your pain. I've had 2 full lace wig disasters, will the SAME fricken wig!!! All I can say is practice makes perfect. Im sure ur a pro by now.

  • I needed that laugh! I'

  • lmfao lmfao

  • lmaooooooooooooooo i was planning to do my lace frond my self but seeing this helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no im going to a professional thank you candiecc :))

  • you should have used tape intead of glue

  • Thank for the laugh...I hope you got the hang of it :)

  • LOL...first of all..your hair is so pretty and so fine....but a lot of those women who wear lace fronts have to shave their natural hairline and use the lace as a new hairline...hope your hair was okay :)

  • You need to shave the hairline, thats what my friend had to do in the salon.

  • u think you would look better bangs since you have an oval face

  • lmfaoo you are too funny!

  • Too cute! By now you should know to leave ypur edges out, they are beautiful! Practice makes perfect! Thanks for sharing!

  • wow i needed the laugh but i also needed to know what not to do thanks!!!

  • To make it look natural you need to part your natural hair line out where ever it does not fit under the lace and comb it over the lace front to keep your hairline looking natural

  • U should never place glue on your own hair--especially on your hairline--U're not going to have any hair there at all if u keep doing that one hun

  • Girl That was my same exact problem ... u had me on the floor cracking up.... lolololol... so what is the right way???

  • a hat lmao ... she got good hair anyway get a weave in girl have your real hair at the front !!

  • screaming with laughter

  • This was hilarious!!! :-) Thank you

  • haha, my mom would do something like this. some people are just gifted in other areas. not everyone can do their own hair... it's ok, that's why professionals exist

  • OMG!!!!! The moment you placed that glue on your edges I was screaming NO!!!!!!!!!!!lol you poor thing.....hey hair grows back, you live and learn, and when it comes to black hair care we all know it's trial and error and helping each other out.....that's why they call us 'sistas' lol

  • Funiest video EVER!!!!

  • girl you dont need a lace front. just add some tracks in the back and let your front hair hang loose and curled. it'll look awesome ;-)

  • Omg you are awesome!!!! I haven't laughed like that in years honestly!! 'it looks like a hat' lmaaaaaaao because I UNDERSTAND!!! I am completely bald so I don't know what my hairline is supposed to look like so I go by pictures too and I have to create the pointy bits in front of my ears. Well let me just say I gave myself full-grown hardcore old man sideburns!!! No advice here babe just so much love going out to you!! I want more disaster videos from you!! P.s I'm finding it hard to type on my

  • You may not want to but you have to trim your hairline, making it more square. wear the black stocking cap. Apply your tape or glue dry glue with cool blow dryer, Attach the lace front from front to back, or let someone help you place it properly if you are new to this process. do not cut the lace off until you have it in place on your head first, because it will tend to turn under. or if you've already cut it, grab lightly by the lace and then place carefully on your head. GOOD LUCK !

  • U have to unfortunately trim or shape your hairline back, but neatly, jut to expose your forheads skin to attach the lace front

  • @ CAndie This was the funniest video yet!! But hey it happens to the best of us!!

  • @ 9:37, I was on the floor, laughing!!!!

  • leave your natural hairline out and comb it over the false hairline, it will look more natural. You have lovely hair my dear

  • i hav nvr had a lace front wig bt my sister is a licenced cosmatologist nd i think u cldve put the glue on the actual lace part of the wig or comb a ur actual hair in the front to cover the lace part to give it tht natual look

  • I have the same kind of hairline and I'm wondering how it would look for me.. I'm tired of tracks because i hate getting all the glue out and I didnt graduate to a sew -in so I'm like lacefront might work but i'm afraid my hairline may make me look like a fool.... did you figure out what kind to use yet?

  • LMAOOOOO sorry i just had to laugh :s

  • hahahahah lmbo poor baby u will get better with practice keep tryin

  • You are awesome! I could feel that bathroom heating up. Lord knows I've had plenty of hair adventures (some of them turned into debacles) and I watched all the emotions I've had play across your face. You have much more tact than I! May all be learned, shared, and adventuresome!

  • It looks more natural pulled back with your baby hairs revealed.

  • lmao dont do that, you are so funny girl, you need to stop, im all over this room tripping!!!!

  • LMBO

  • Most people with low hair lines shave the hairline back a bit to make the wig look more natural... if you only want the wig for a short period of time this may be a problem but if you like to wear wigs and weaves this is something most people consider.

  • LOL girl you is funny but i feel ur pain. hope you get the help

  • yeah your hairline is lovely. i think the baby hair method would have worked. :) i subscribed to you because this video was so freaking honest and yet hilarious that your other videos must be great.

  • HAHA! This is JUST like my first application! except im pretty sure the LFW was closer to my eye brows....

I gave on the glue and just pull the elastics tighter.

Man this was good to watch XD

  • girl shave back ya hair line just a wee bit! then u will be set, and usually the lace fronts that u get from ya BSW u dont need glue or tape, they fit snug and the lace lays flat(: good luck!

  • umm,,, i wish u had ur hairline u have a beautiful hair line why are u trying to hide it? make it ur baby hair. u should j do extensions whole reson why most ppl use lace front is cuz they dont have full hair in the front like u do,, throw that lacefront away and get extensions of a cap in the back. Cuz u have a nice front so u dont need no LACE front. :)

  • lmao omg time for more tutorials lol

  • @5:58 lmfaooo omg you crack me up!!!

  • I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • This SHIT IS SO FUNNY LMAO

  • oh girl you are so funny. thank you for being honest and posting this. i almost tried to do my own but changed my mind after watching this.

  • i really hope all went well. i really dont think you need a lace front or a wig. but i can understand you doing it to protect your own hair. please keep some rubbing alcohol 99 % or 91% on hand. never use the bonding glue remover. or the oil sheen. not good.i wish you well. if i can help in anyway at all please send me a email. God Bless

  • Damn yo head nappy ! !

  • WOW! Go take a look at some other videos...lol

  • Too funny! I love this video and I love your humor.

  • thanks for your honesty

  • Love your vids. ..You hair is very beautiful too beautiful for wigs...chk out my vids, on micro-bead individual strand remy human hair strands.

  • FAILED!!!!

  • im a dude and i wear wigs lol... i never told anyone other than family

  • wow this is a lessoned learned

  • part ure hair line and with that same small brush put the glue inbetween let it dry and then put the wig on....also 99% alchol can remove it as well as c2 oil also before putting it on u need to use a scalp protector

  • you're so cute!

  • OMG! I am laughing and watching your video by myself! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!

  • This has been very hard to watch! Imagine putting glue onto your SKIN!!! Then adding the remover! I hope you survived it and didn't get brain cancer.

  • I have the same problem. I'm either going to sew my LF on this time (behind the hairline) or try Ms. Lola's Band Aids. My hairline at my temples almost reaches my eyebrows but I'm determined lol!

  • lmao..u are funny.this is cracking...

  • loooooool, i had 2 suscribe

  • Plz let me know that you figured this out, OMG!!! with yur hairline you need to use combs and hair pins only!!! NOOOOO Glue or tape!! Check out my vids on how to apply with tape and glue. LMBO!!! Bless your heart!

  • use aceatone nail polish remover or alcohol too much lace at the top cut it too the darkest part of the hairin the wig it looks so much more natural

  • use aceatone nail polish remover or alcohol

  • use bandaids or a skin protector, and measure and cut the lace b4 glueing! omg

  • You have a low hairline. I suggest you get a customized lace front. Its more expensive, BUT it would compliment you hairline.

  • omg!!! i cant even watch!!! from the point where you used the small tooth comb to take the glue out lmao..damn girl

  • the glue you were using is for tracks... try using front lace glue next time and use a cap and 99 percent alcohol to remove the glue

  • your eye brows are nice ll

  • LMBO girl u had me cracking up....

  • u have good hair just take your baby hair out so it can look like your hair.....

  • @toosie1000 i can't believe ppl are still using the phrase 'good hair'

  • put on a cap

  • I'm sold! I'm subscribing !

  • Buy Lace Front Wigs, Lace Frontal, Human Hair, Black African American Indian Remy, Chinese Remy, Malaysian, Brazilian and European hair. 1-800-456-9236

  • You are too funny. Gurl, leave it to the professionals for real. You make sure you pay someone (who is licensed) to put your lacefront wig on for you.

  • aww wow... im afraid now

  • Love the honesty... I will not try this at home. lol

Thanks girl... poor baby hairs tho =(

  • -its nice on you though, but i wouldnt use glue nor the tape,.. i'd just wear the combs w/ it,.. i recommend not sleeping in your laces,..

  • too much fat in her face ass!!

  • I think you should get the lace front that does not need any glue or tape, it will be more helpful.

  • You shouldnt even be wearing lace fronts cuz ur edges are so low lace fronts are for people who dont have edges.. due 2 stress or glue. u should just get a weave and blend ur front in with the weave. But if u must wear 1 put the lace front wig n a ponytail but not tight so it doesnt roll down on u. And ur gana have2 put the glue on ur skin not ur hair ever lol

  • I wear wigs all the time, was rocking before lace fronts came out. Part your hair line in the front leave out about 1/4 inch of your hair then put on lace front them comb you hair over the edges of the lace front or a regular wig since you have a nice grade of hair and you're sticking to your hair color then blend i your hair into the front of the wig. I've been doing this for years most people think my wig is my hair. And you are funny!

  • Girl u had me screamin' in tears!! U 2 funny!! Thank U for showing me what not to do... this is my first time too. RMAOL!!!

  • I got you girl. What you do is get bobby pins to keep the wig in place.. and you already have combs in the wig. Line your hair up naturally to your hairline at the top. The sides of your own hair that sticks out of the wig's hairline, you must pull out of the braids and blend with the wig in the front. Make sure to cut the rest of the lace right up against it's hairline. Never use glue. Never use tape.

  • Girl you are to funny. Thank you soooo much for taking the time to share with us on what NOT to do. I am also learning from you as well. Again, thank you. :-)

  • Join BHM and be prepared to learn how to apply it the correct way. Goodluck!

  • honey for someone like you, i think you should apply your LF BEHIND some of that beautiful babyhair!!! EMBRACE IT!

  • OMG..please do not try this again..plz!!!

  • got the same hair line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Girllll !!! lmao u havee someee niicee haiirr !!! next time put on a stockingg cap ! n sincee ur hairlinee is so loww the babyy haiir will look more natural with the weave ! lol embrace tht babyy haiir girl ! ! let juss a little of the baby haiir showw !

  • lmaoo this is funny

  • Hello. Can you please send me a message or just reply with what suggestions people gave you for applying the wig while u have a low hairline? My hairline is low as well and I am NOT shaving it back! I don't know what to do.

Can u please let me know what suggestions were given to u in terms of where to place the glue/tape on ur head?

    Thank u so much!!

  • ur natural hair is so beautiful:)

  • I never seen this video and when yu said it looks like a Hat! I rolled on the floor !

Because you are the only one who has shown they dont always fit right or slide

  • I love the video you made this a funny application, thank you i laughed through most of it. Keep on trying you will eventually get the hang of it. Stay Beautiful.

  • the low hairline actually does you justice. Looks far more natural. besides - it's YOUR hairline, so it will look more natural!!

  • you are just so funny,i really likr this video couldnt stop laughing.reminds me of myself.

  • u should have used ur hairline to ur advantage. u should use ur sides of ur hairline as "baby hair"...ur other choice is to shave ur hairline to be the shape of the wig....but just do as YAKIIROLL said!!!

  • haha, this is the cutes video ever..

  • You Need a Stylist trained in Cranial Prostetics!!! ....Quickly!! Wow was That Ultra Hold I saw U using for adhesive??? U definitely had a Mess to Clean Up!! P.s. Your Own hair looks Much Better!!

  • juts go back to were ur hair line go back the farthest and then part straight around ur hair line and just leave the baby hairs out and just aply the glue on a cap so it wonnt get on ur hair

  • As a wig wearer who has alopecia I envy you. You have a wonderful natural hairline, you don't need a lace front. You can pull some of your own hair out to give a natural look to a regular wig or a quick weave.

  • Poor Baby!

  • hahaha! You are funny. Like most things in life, it's just trial-n-error. No worries, you'll eventually have it down to a science!

  • Hey Girl, I can see myself doing the same thing. It's a learning process but in the end, you're looking HOT. Yeaaaaaaaaaaa

    LOL

  • Good Luck gf :)

  • U really are too cute and soo funny girlfriend! I think it ended up looking ok, but i feel what you mean in reference to it looking/feeling like a 'hat'> i think the problem is that you have a little cute 'small framed' face and you need all the 'forehead' as possible to be visible/seen, and pulling down the lace wig to meet your actual sides takes away from your forehead frame> i would suggest to trim your sides... start with just a little at a time, i think youll be pleasantly surprised :)

  • I USED TO USE THE GLUE. too messy SO I USE TAPE NOW. MUCH BETTER.............I STYLED THE WIG AND CUT A BANG. SO MUCH BUTTER

  • You are too cute! I love this video. Please go watch muffinsismylover about properly applying your lace wig.

My daughter has a hairline like you do. The wig looks good on your though. I like it. : )

  • Girl, i think you better use TAPE, especially when you apply it for the first time, just to practice applying a lace front wig :) I suppose you could ask at the Lace Wig Connection, they have a website on NING, just google it... i am sure they can help you out dear :)

    Goodluck!

    Zohra from Holland

  • you are having problems because you are working against your hair line---you could use your hairline as your baby hairs

  • Oh my. I needed this laugh! I hope you figured it out!

  • OMG CANDIE!!!! I'M LMAO at you!! Sorry u were having problems but this video was real and funny!!! i hope you were able to get some advice! Keep doing what you do ma!! *MUAH*

  • Your honesty in commendable girl! Once you got it on, it looked good though. LOL You had me cracking up.

  • Okay, this is hilarious, the comments and your sense of humor! Love it!. This is exactly why I DON'T wear wigs!

  • the clips are fine to use, also some stores let u try on their wigs they give u a wig cap so u can see how u look, also u can pluck some hairs from the front to make ur own hair line shape. it takes time. but it was your first time! to the girl who doesnt like lace fronts no one cares what u think either be nice and help or click to a diffirent link. and lace fronts do work you just have to reseach and buy of good qaulity one and make it your own. all this girl needed was help.

  • It looks good without the glue...the glue will only cause problems with your skin and thinning hair line...

  • lol OMG! GIRL I CANT STOP LAUGHING! YOU GAVE ME A HEADACHE!

  • This is my problem as well. I have a low hairline and am having problems getting my front lace wigs to look good.

  • Try ms lolas band aid method I think it would work great for you

  • wow you poor woman i fel so bad for you but at least you have lots of people willing to explain it to you properly.

  • lmbo!

  • Girl me Tooooooo!

  • LOLOLOL oh poor baby!!! man i know how you feel.... its like the first time i tried to wax my legs and didnt know how to remove wax and had a sticky mess all over my legs.... lol

  • Candie, your looking like Rudy Huxable! Lurking, but still love you!

  • OMG!!! falling on the floor!!! kicking! where have you been you left me Biggest Sad Face:(((((

  • @ATLMicki not rudy Claire!!!

  • funniest video ever hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaah she said i dont think i believed myself at this point hahaha

  • I think the natural baby hair showing is natural looking. I want to try out the lfw to get away from the amount of time I spend weaving my hair.

  • Honey I have the same "MoNique" hairline. After 3 lace fronts and 1 fl, I left them alone. I can't invest in a customized one. I give you 5 stars for effort honey. You had me reliving my experience.

  • Next time try a dry run. Placing the wig where you want it without glue to see how it will look when in place and where the glue should go for your hairline.

  • Try Twinkeez2003 & Muffinismylover oh yeah lovekisses99

  • I've been there...when I started wearing LFW about 2 yrs ago, I remember my 1st application I struck the wig just above my eybrows...lol...try watching Ateyaaa, Twinkeez2003, Muffinismylover, Msloa, Shoplacewigs and Dezi1016...;0)

  • i dont glue on my lace wigs i just use the combs lovekisses99 has a video on how she attaches her wigs by using hair pins

  • The key is if you do not have a average hairline invest in buying lace fronts or flw with custom measurements so it will look natural. Basic wigs are only for average hairlines. Watch a video and write down the steps. Never take short cuts, check off intil familiar, and try not to rush applying your lace wigs. Also make sure you have your basic necessities on hand! Like adhesive, adhesive remover, alcohol, q-tips, clips to pull hairs back, and blow-dryer with cool low heat!

  • One mistake that a lot of people that wear lace fronts make is that they pull it down way too far on the forehead. Nobody's hairline is that low unless you want to look like that crazy woman from housewives of New Jersey you all know who I'm talking about.

  • @rosieparez ROTFLMAO!!!.....i thought i was the only one who saw that shit her hair line and her eyebrows are connected

  • @rosieparez yes yes i know who i read your comment before i finish reading i thought about her and when you said new jersey i was cracking up laughing :)

  • TERESA ! TERESA! LOL!
