  • hi my rabbit had her babies 3 days ago and i notcied 2 were looking really small so i latched them on to her for a liitle while, will the mother reject the 2 i latched on her or will it all be fine?

  • My liitle baby rabbit is almost dead because i think he hasnt got any milk what should i do because he doesnt want to open his mouth when i try ti put him in thenipple of the female rabbit

  • hey ah i was just wondering how are you toching them with out the mother amandining them are you really close with the mother or something thank you

  • @sdfjsdklfsdjflskdfhs Not yet. I will be soon though :)

  • @sdfjsdklfsdjflskdfhs No, i dont suggest eating them, however eating rabbits which people still do to this day in Europe and have done in America since its foundation is fine. They eat dogs in china and our forefathers did as well, nothing wrong with it.

  • Stop!!!!!Talking about eating rabbits .

    thatas

  • @sdfjsdklfsdjflskdfhs Eating them is the way to go.

  • :0 that's a huge mom!!!!

  • i have a question,, can some of the babies suffocate in the nest when their siblings are on top of them?

  • @22roseanna no, they shift themselves around so they all get enough warmth and air

  • No the scent from her will be lost when she puts them back in nest box get ur facts write

  • Ur so stupid rabbits aren't birds it does not matter about the stupid smell so shut up

  • this is sad that you touched them, the mother will not claim them because the scent will not be hers and she will neglect them and then most likely eat them

  • Hi,

thanks a lot for a very informative video, I was worried why I couldn't see the mother feeding the babies, but after watching your video, i sorted that out, that one baby was weak and I did the same thing :) and it worked....

once again thx... and I'm gonna send you the video soon for my rabbit babies..

  • very interesting video ...do you guys breed them for snake food ?

  • OH MY GOD! OUR RABBIT LOOKS LIKE A TWIN. the eyes, the ears..., they're the same. =) she just delivered her babies a while ago.

  • I NEED major help, I found some baby bunnies in my bunnies cage. I was NOT expecting it at all! Can you please help me, by the way this is my bunny`s 1st litter. She had a litter of 7 and I have no clue what to do at all! My grandma called the humane society but they only said dont touch any of them.

  • if i didnt have KMR... will any kitten powder form milk do?

  • @asasincros6 i dont know, i've only used Goat milk before. i just know people use KMR too. i'm sure it would... same nutrience, right?

  • @irwinke Thx....but my Bunny all dead...='[[

  • if i touch the babys is there a chance that my human scent will make the mother reject her babys?

  • @MrSwaggan nope, that's not rabbits. if the mother is in the cage when you're touching the babies, pick her some grass and give it to her as a treat to distract her. just be sure to put the babies back in the nest after, if one gets out, she's unable to put it back and it will die without the heat of it's litter-mates.

  • You are a Sweet Lady and very good with Your animals..Thank You

  • thank you thank you my netherland dwarf had 5 babies and the mother wasnt feeding them and i fed them once and then the mom knew what to do

  • @lisamuth1 yey!!! glad to hear :D

  • @irwinke and again thank you there doing pretty good

  • what should i do if the mother doesnt have any milk?

  • @Jasonyeemusic kitten milk replacement... i'm not sure of the amount, google it. but feed them twice a day, every 12 hours.

  • lol a chunky bit

  • u shouldnt tuch untill they ope tere eyes or the mother may eat them

  • I wish i have loads baby bunnies like yours :(

When my Bunnie gave birth 3 only.

  • @xkavitha smaller rabbits usually* only 4-6... the larger breeds go up to 8-12. i've had more and less from both though... you NEVER know haha

  • @EricsKTM85xc check your messages :)

  • they are so cute and i can't wait to see mine getting bigger i just uploaded a video of mine u can check them in my channel if u want and BTW great video

  • they so cute

  • Lake Erie area. So our weather is probably fairly similar (you may be a bit colder). Our back porch is actually connected to the house, we just don't heat it. They have an enclosed box section they can go in, but they usually just huddle out in the main cage. Each one is so cute and I love their colors. I can't wait to see what kind of fiber they will produce. And I'm looking forward to your video/tutorial. Thanks for all your response.

  • @MountainMudFarms no problem, glad to! they're fine in an enclosed porch, for sure! you should post more vids, i showed my mom your chickens today and she laughed lol she's got about 100 i think. look forward to seeing more! take care :)

  • All those babies.....=) I'd love to see how you've set up your rabbitry? I'm trying to design mine better to accommodate a few more rabbits and allow them more exercise. Are all your cages on the ground? Can the buns run around? Do you litter train? Thanks!

  • @MountainMudFarms yes i find it easier to have the cages on the ground as it's easier to let them in and out for their runs. i only keep my smaller holland lops up top. i have some pictures on my website ( ww w.mysticraerabbitry.webs.com/rabbitry.htm ). i dont litter train as nobody is in the house, theyr'e all outside in a heated rabbit shed. when you get your new setup you should make a video of it, i'd like to see it for sure!

  • @irwinke Thanks! I really like your setup. A couple questions if you don't mind: Do you find it harder to clean floor cages? For does that kindle in the colder months, do you still keep them in the shed or do they come inside? We brought ours into our basement for the first couple weeks; now they are on our unheated back porch to get used to the cold.

  • @MountainMudFarms sure no problem! i find it easier on the ground because i just change the litter with a pitch fork or shovel when i clean them out. when they have litters i have lots of shavings down, with lots of hay ontop so it stays warm. i use wooden nest boxes for when the babies are just born so they cant burrow down to the cement. i finished the last cage in my shed today so i may do a little video of it soon, a tutorial or something on how i keep my rabbits.

  • @irwinke oh and also, they should be fine on your back porch as long as they can get out of the wind and it's not too much of a sudden temperature drop. they need to grow out their coats a bit, but since it's a litter they can huddle too. where abouts are you in the states? i might be talking about different temperatures then here in southern ontario, canada lol
