Why are so many people comparing this song to the one by Mariah Carey? If you listen to both songs it is very obvious that they are two completely different songs that happen to have the same name. Both songs are good, though my personal favorite is this one.
How can anyone not like this song? It's absolutely beautiful, and very much underplayed. Where I live, WODS and WROR have been playing Christmas music for a week and I haven't heard this one yet. And like others have stated, nothing beats an original. Thanks for posting this.

This is the BEST!!! I first fell in love with this song when our daughter, our only child was overseas with her Husband, he was in the US Navy with our first grandchild for Christmas. She used to do a show called "A closer walk with patsy cline"...she sounds just like patsy. I think she will be doing a shows like that in San Antonio starting some time in January i believe. I can't remember the name of the theater. God...i remember her taking me around to meet Vince Vance and the others back when i was 4 lol.

Surely, you're proud of your aunt. As most say, not even the big name singers can top the way she sings this one. Also, I feel the same way about the way she sings "I ONLY WANT TO BE WITH YOU". She does it better than Dusty Springfield.

@mannymanano You're 100% dead on there Manny. She beats Dusty and does a super job on Aretha's "RESPECT" too. I wish I had a tape of all the covers she did with VVV back in the 80's. Lisa could sing almost anyones song as good or better than they could. What a voice.
