hi brian after a long time fishing and not having a lot of time to do anything at all. i can tell everybody here that the spomb will improve your ishing and your catch rate. we have used the spomb for nearly a year now and have superb results in october alone we have landed 45 40.00lb + carp with three of them being over 50lbs in total this year we have landed 15 50.00lbs commons to 54.05lbs
Thanks for your comments, some 2 1/2 years were spent on the engineering, design & vigorous testing for this innovative product the SPOMB before it was available. Earlier prototypes had the button covered. Keeping it open offered greater benefits. The mechanism is easily maintained, washing out clean as soon as it hits the water, bait is dispersed instantly ready for a fast aquaplane retreive. It can also be turned 180 degrees for a stronger latch, if required. We appreciate all feedback.
its very neat but why do they not just cover the button section so you cant even accidentally fill it? seems silly in all the videos iv seen of this people are always to be reminded not to fill it in this section.
I saw one of these in action for the first time this weekend. AMAZING!! So much quicker than a Spod.

Most people have said that the Spomb has a lot less disturbance than any duck landing on or moving about on the water.

it massive splash when it hits the water and when u retrieve the so called SPOMB it makes flippin loads of ripples! ....but a gd idea!

We recommend 4lb - 5lb test curve rod with 45lb → 15lb tapered leader.
Unloaded weight 2¼ oz (60g). Loaded with corn, casting weight 6½ oz (180g).
When the Spomb hits the water it opens and bait is instantly dispersed.
The Spomb is buoyant and ready for instant fast retrieve.
