Can't say I care for Locke's philosophy, but his optimistic faith in man and his charitable disposition (combined with a common sense abhorrence of the solipsism his philosophy led to), would all recommend him as a husband. And if he looked like Rufus Sewell, then well...
If that hoity-toity woman who rebuffed Rufus's ardent, declaration of love doesn't want him, he can knock on my box anytime! Is that woman emigrating to the colonies to join a mental asylum? Ruf is the sexiest man in the galaxy and she's turned him down in such a huffy manner - sheer lunacy, she's daft. I nominate Rufus as "Lord Sexitude" a genuinely yummykitten mansicle of male pulchritude dripping testosterone whilst performing world class acting of the highest calibur
I had a similiar thought when watching Tristan and Isolde, it vexed me to be made to entertain the idea that any respectable lady of allegedly sound mind might possibly NOT think he was the only logical preference in the cosmos, assuming that the medieval women also knew about galaxies :)
@fairytaleforest I couldn't agree more. Every time I watch Tristan+Isolde (and I do so periodically for the sheer pleasure of looking at and listening to Rufus), I laugh outloud at the idea of what a horrible tragedy it must be to be made queen and expected to accept Marke in your bed every night. Tragic indeed. I've got nothing against the guy who plays Tristan, but seriously, could he ever be preferred by any hormonally-active, sane woman?
I love this clip! It was never released in the USA and can't be bought on DVD/VHS in America. Can you download the entire movie in 10 minute clips sent to your "Private" subscriptions? Looks like a wonderful role for Rufus so I'd love to see more! Thanks, Colleen

Amen. I would like, "Locke, take me," and here she is yelling at him. :l Bad taste, that woman.

I had a feeling that's where it came from but thought I'd beg and grovel anyways - just in case you had a copy!
