Santonio's catch was way more significant, it won the Superbowl, so even tho Wallace's catch with no time left, broke the 5 game losing streak, Steelers still didn't make the playoff's that year...So again, I think it makes Santonio's catch much more epic. People will remember him Santonio as MVP and winning the Superbowl with that catch.

@Yoder23m boy u crazy, holmes got way more hand then wallace, (no offence) you see wallace is only a down the field deep route runner speedster, holmes got the whole package, he can go across the middle as well as the deep threat, and not to mention his yards after catch compared to marshall, and one of the most clutch recievers in the league as of lately making back to back game winning plays at the jets, superbowl mvp, i can go on and on, it aint personal, just had to jump in on that lol.

Also i am tremendously sad we traded Santonio but Ive done a lot of research and Emmanuel Sanders, the rookie we took out of SMU, looks like a FUSION of Hines and Santonio, he has Santonio's speed and athleticisim mixed with Hines's physical play and blocking, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls, well, a "Mike Wallace" this year lol...if you dont know his name now Im sure you will by the end of the season. And he's wearing Lynn Swanns number so thats always a good sign lol

Santonio's because not only did it win a Super Bowl, there were 3 defenders around him, its nothing short of a miracle the ball even made it to his hands let alone he held on to it and kept his feet inbounds...Mikes was amazing as well but even taking out the Super Bowl aspect of Santonio's at its core it was just a more impressive catch overall

Mike's was better because time expired and if he didn't make it, they would have lost. Santonio's was on second down with 35 seconds left so they could have always had another play.

Both great throws & catches, but the Wallace play was DO or DIE...no time left on the clock. The Holmes play was 2nd & goal with time left....and at the very least, they could have kicked a Field Goal to tie it & send it into Overtime. Based on that, I'd say the Wallace play was more epic.

Holmes was triple covered in the back corner of the end zone, and managed to keep both feet in on a ball he had to jump for. Not much of a contest between the two, however it is Wallace's rookie year, and he got us a win that brought back our playoff hopes, so both are amazing!
