  • The 15 dislikes are from convnants.

  • @aboub117 lol You suck at commenting.

  • @BlastedBeaver

    And? that's all?

  • @aboub117 convnants...really...wow...im going to assume you were talking about the covenant

  • Spartan I is called ORION, the name Spartan was not created until ORION II, which Halsey believed did not fit as well as Spartan, especially since most of the ORION project subjects died.

  • Halo is about the Spartan II project if anyone has info on Spartan I it would be cool to hear about it

  • @MrT0777 The Spartan I project was kind of a failed attempt and was also called Orion. After Halsey decided to reattempt it she decided to call it Spartan II after Orion. Hoped i helped

  • @seanc9080 Oh yeah! and Sergeant Johnson was a volenteer! Man, I forgot about that.

  • @MrT0777 She named it Spartan because of how well it fit.

There were going to be 300 of them(later, funding was cut to 150), they were going to be trained as warriors from birth, and . . . one other thing I forgot.

The 2 was to honor the people from the first ORION Project.

That information is from Halsey's journal, shipped with Halo: Reach limited edition.

You can learn more on halo dot wikia dot com, just look up ORION Project.

  • This would've been a pretty good song when you had to shot down the cruiser , js.

  • Theres only some pieces of music which are more beautiful than this.

  • @IronSatsuma Are you sure :3?

  • @5566Alec Prove me wrong then

  • no spartan's never die they respawn

  • what ever happen to jun?

  • @moooooooky1: Nobody knows for sure.

  • @JakeMorgan606 I do. He got killed by Thel Vadamee, holding him off so the Doc could escape to CASTLE base.

  • @bigfatcarp93: And how do you "know" that? Also, Doctor Halsey did get to Castle Base, but not with the assistance of Jun. Have you read Ghosts of Onyx & The Fall Of Reach?

  • @JakeMorgan606 Yes, I have. And I know this from the Halo Wiki. She never would have reached Castle if it weren't for Jun, even if he didn't take her straight to the front door.

  • @bigfatcarp93: Thel Vadamee was the one leading the invasion of Reach. He was pratically on a ship the entire time.

  • @JakeMorgan606 Logically, he would be. But you know how Elites are. Hell, we all read "The Cole Protocol", Thel was as much of a psychopath as the rest of his kind, I have no doubt he may have stepped Planetside just to smash some heads. Remember the zealot from Ghosts of Onyx? Leader of a fleet, but he still entered the Shield World and faced Kurt.

  • @JakeMorgan606 Spartans never die, they're just missing in action

  • @bigfatcarp93 True. That scene was epic!

  • @JakeMorgan606 "Haven't you heard? Spartans never die."

  • @JakeMorgan606: Yeah, haha!

  • 12 noobs cant beat the first level on easy xD

  • 12 people were born as ODSTs

  • Fucking epic!!!!

  • give me the extras on a link in a rar megaupload

  • 636 people passed augmentation, 12 had side affects.

  • Remember Reach.............

  • And I never fell since...

  • @Tridyrium D:

  • Please get this on iTunes this is crazy

  • Is this on itunes

  • @Tridyrium Hey, what's the song that plays during The Package while defending Halsey's lab on Legendary?

  • @shadowblade255997 There are several tracks called "The Lab" (part 1 and 2) in the Extras playlist, look there.

  • @shadowblade255997 its also in halo 1 and halo 3 from martin odonal i saw it on youtube called something but it wasnt halo it was from martis reletive or something

  • Do you have a song for the Halo ODST live action trailer?

  • @Jacvinc1 true skill indeed, my friend..... OR if ur like me, people frickin ignore u no matter what u do

  • I want this to be made a 10 hour track.

    MAKE IT!

  • this is an epic song. does that mean Im a nerd?

  • @MrQuickSqueez Not at all dude.

  • dead motivational!

  • thats deep.... No vittor066 ur not the only one

  • am i the only one who gets inspiration just by listening to this track ?..

  • IM SPAMING ALL THE STAR WARS COMMENTS!!!!!!

  • Is there a longer version of this

  • best Reach soundtrack....the other tracks are crap :P

  • goosebumps everytime such a dynamic song

  • Seriously, you guys are talking about star wars on a halo vid?

  • so.... reading means we have no life?

    anyways.... AWESOME!!

  • the video to this is kinda dumb because the real procedure was wayyy different -_- they should have made a vido of the one from the book :p

  • @Arlis215

The Spartan III augmentations, as described in Ghosts of Onyx, were COMPLETELY chemical, instead of chemical+surgical, due to advances in technology....

  • @Arlis215 how do they do it then how fucktard

  • @spiderbiter23 when they are 14, they dont get told what they are doing, they just lay on a bed and get put to sleep, then get a bunch of needles. 1. for bone strength, 1 for muscle strength, 1 to sharpen thier reflexes by 300% and a bunch of others. not all of them make it through so and the rest who made it through alive and still healthy got their armor like 2 weeks later or so.

something like that, read the book -_-

  • this played in the video where Carter injects himself to become a Spartan III

  • Did Marty really make this?

  • @megabrowser17 Read the description, it's composed by Human Worldwide (they do tons of trailer music and never release them)

  • @Tridyrium Lol, sorry, I thought there was nothing left in the description to need to show more.

  • @Tridyrium who's Human Worldwide, an orchestra?

  • @imthinkinlikearbiter Read about them on their website

    humanworldwide(dot)com

(you seriously could have just googled it)

  • @Tridyrium random question... how do you pronounce your username?

  • @slashisgod9299 How do YOU pronounce it?

  • Comment removed

  • @Tridyrium That's deep, man.

  • @Tridyrium do you have any more music from them?

  • this is in the vid birthof a spartan ( its a vid that shows how carter gets into a spartan)

  • most epic shit i ever lsitened

  • shut up and listen to the music.

  • @ATeaBagger LoL nice name.. seriously

  • @nnSharkBaitnn i have a job to do and it is to make noobs suffer for been noobs

  • Wow... never thought i would live to see the day where people argued about lightsabers and halo shit.

  • Are u guys really fighting over unsc and starwars!!!

  • Reminds me of Apocalyptica somehow...

  • @TheDTYPsGames damn straight

  • @ChaosAndGreed It's not even a legitimate conversation! It's like... .Halo ships vs Star wars ships and like... the least known facts only a insanely nerdy would know... lolol

  • Hey nerds, quit fucking argueing and enjoy the damn music. Holy shit. You're argueing about fucking STAR WARS AND HALO. You read ALL the books for star wars and halo? Bravo. I commend you for having no life as that takes serious skill my friend.

  • @Jacvinc1 thats definatly a true statement

  • @Jacvinc1 halo would still win and im saying that cuz i just watched movies and halo is just epic star wars looks like a deformed vagina.

  • @runescapemaster401 I agree. Well said man.

  • @Jacvinc1 apperntly those other two chaos and shit cant reason that halo can win because it made you have a place in your heart for it and can make you cry get your adrniline pumpin you want more but u just have to hope 343 makes a epic new trillogy

  • @runescapemaster401 Yeah I really hope they don't fuck up the franchise. :/

  • @Jacvinc1 im not preordring unless everyone says its epic.

  • @runescapemaster401 SAY WHAT?!? I hope you're not talking about the first trilogy! *Slaps anyway* The first trilogy is a classic in way Halo could never be. Yes, I am a big Halo fan. I am also a big Star Wars fan. Both are epic(s), both are classics, but SW will always be a classic in a way that Halo will never be.

    *Slaps again*

  • @Terran123rd *blows up with rocket launcher* fuck you this is gamer land and halo can only pass.

  • @runescapemaster401 *dodges with banshee* No, this is a youtube video. *Drops HAVOC nuke* Have a nice day.

  • @Jacvinc1 HA nice

  • @SmashMaster83 Take a look below... The fight still rages :|

  • @SmashMaster83 Take a look below... The fight still rages :|

  • @Jacvinc1 what would you recken best black opps or reach

  • @mtthy09 Black ops sucks except for zombies in my opinion. Im not too much into reach, but I do think its better than black ops.

  • @Jacvinc1 So if reading books takes serious skill you must be fucking retarded.

  • @AKxxFiEnD Well, if you read my comment correctly you would have noticed that I implied that reading all of the fucking star wars and halo books took skill. Are you retarded?

  • @Jacvinc1 Wow, you read a book Im so impressed. Not.

  • @TacosAreWizard ...What?

  • @AKxxFiEnD as to having no life

  • @Jacvinc1 yhea they are nerds but the song is good

  • @Jacvinc1 u mad bro?

  • @Beejayvei Nah, joke's on you! :D

  • @Jacvinc1 Since when is reading having no life? Get out kid.

  • @OBEYWEEGEE Once again, a moron that can't read. I said reading EVERYTHING THERE IS ABOUT STAR WARS AND HALO is having no life. YOU get out kid.

  • @Jacvinc1 I'm pretty sure I read it correctly and you're being extremely retarded. In your own words: "You read ALL the books for star wars and halo? Bravo. I commend you for having no life as that takes serious skill my friend." And besides, since when is reading everything there is about star wars and halo having no life? You're very dumb, i'm sorry.

  • @OBEYWEEGEE Lmao, you obviously did NOT read it right. You don't think memorizing every little detail in the fictional world of star wars and halo and then fucking argueing about it like it's the end of the damn world is having a life? And from this I am not intelligent? Sorry,'WEEGEE', but I do believe you are a dumbass. Good day sir.

  • @Jacvinc1 Nope. Someone could memorize every little detail from whichever story they want, but they could also lead a successful life. Your argument is invalid. Lulz

  • @OBEYWEEGEE Leading a successful life? Trying to sound smart bro? Sorry, I'm done here dude. This arguement is stale and there's no point to it. Have you seen the actual arguements? They're a good laugh. You should definitely check those out lol. Peace out man.

  • @Jacvinc1 Just saying that even though people can read a lot on fictional games/stories it doesn't mean that they also can't do something with themselves.

  • @OBEYWEEGEE Yeah man, I know what you mean. Just those petty arguements that they had seemed annoying and unproductive to me.

  • @Jacvinc1 Awsome conversation!

  • @MrQuickSqueez Thanks! I try y'know... :P

  • @Jacvinc1 Do note though, that Star Wars was something in the 1970s. We're currently in the 21st century. At the time when Star Wars came out, that was 'state of the art' graphics and threw the world in awe. Of course Star Wars doesn't make people feel that way anymore when video games have better graphics than Star Wars does. All in all, my opinion is that Star Wars & Halo shouldn't even be compared in the first place. They're 2 different things. They have (arguably) 1 thing in common, space.

  • @TheElderSun I understand what you're getting at but what I was saying was a little different. They were not argueing about video games or graphics, but about the universe of all things star wars and all things halo. They were saying things like the UNSC wouldn't be a match against the empire and things to that nature. (Something about the empire having shields or something and more.) The amount of detail they put into their statements both awed me and annoyed me.

  • @Jacvinc1 Dang... that's quite a conversation I missed out... Oh well, people are people. To each their own. If they want to do that with Star Wars my way of life is "Whatever. Do what you want". If you were annoyed by it, I'm also, "Whatever. Do what you want". I'm a neutral dude. No reason to hate. But again, that is quite a conversation I missed out I guess. UNSC vs. The Empire...

  • @TheElderSun "all i know is that my gut says...maybe"

  • A single Spartan with a Spartan laser would rip emperor palpatine to shreds. Marathon class cruisers would obliterate the super star destroyer. Done.

  • 12 people got injected with poison not spartan blood

  • @caboose291 you are not funny fag

  • @blackghost2516 I AINT TRYING 2 SO STFU!

  • Thumbs Up if you closed your eyes and tried to picture the trailer

  • We all are remembering that this is just moot fanboysim on both sides, right?

  • A small comment on the side:

    ChaosAndGreed, i love you a little. :)

  • @Zamoone1337 thanks.

    no homo, of course

  • o shit.... at 0:20 i got goosebumps

  • As a matter of a fact, you can't shoot their brains out easily. (They even defend themselves from lasers, so prekognition is in place.)

But a leathal gas or a mere shotgut should do the job. Have we ever seen a shotgun in use of the Empire? :D

  • This makes a great death

  • Easily the most amazing Halo song ever. This shit is movie worthy.

  • I think it should be longer, it's way too epic for only 2 minutes and thirteen seconds.

  • @zodiac11111 clearly you are retarded you could just shoot a siths brains out with sniper and put you nuts on whats left of his head

  • an epical track....halo forever

  • 12 people are Covenant. Fuck you !

  • Summoning black wholes, are you really going there? UNSC will win via Chuck-Norris-Chief, stopping time and killing every single Empire-citizen... .

There is a point, where the Force stops being funny. Everything portraied in the movies, stops at about lightningbolts and defying gravity. It took Yoda a shitload of concentration to stop a single pillar from falling! But Sith can destroy solarsystems! Just stay realistic!

And noone has ever claimed, that troopers got plot armor.

  • Stormtroopers don't have plot armor. It comes down to vehicles and ship to ship, not infantry. The Eclipse. SSD. Sun Crusher.

    Pillar of Autumn.

    AT-AT, AT-ST, Juggernaut, IF-TX.

    Scorpion.

GG UNSC, good luck next time!

  • @FleishDawg spartans can take down scarabs which are alot tuffer than AT-AT's all you do to take down an AT-AT is wrap its legs up untill it falls UNSC would humiliate the empire the UNSC dont just have scorpians they have frigets what are capeable of lazor beams that can be acurately pinpointed.

spartans themselves are machine they can take over entire armys just by themselves...

and the force in no mach for ARMOUR LOCK BITCH!

  • @FletchScopes Scarabs are an open canopy creation. You're also assuming the a Spartan Laser, the ONLY Laser weapon is capable of matching to a Death Star's superlaser, or even a basic turbolaser turret. And compared to Palpatine, who could summon black wholes as will, Spartans are just outmatched.

  • @FletchScopes

pick up the spartan with armor lock via the force, when it armor lock fades, push the Spartan far away

  • Okay, if sith stay in the game:

The Empire has no direct access to forerunner technology. A measure of last resort (if they somehow locate human colonies), would be to jump to the Ark, take the Delta Halo (which was destroyed in H3), let it slipspace in Empire-Space and trigger local activation. 1/7 of a galaxy perished.

IMO massive use of the force is more like a fairy tale and less sci-fi, with no real scientific backround... or at least plausible backround. While Spartans are very realistic.

  • and plus in halo spartans have overshields

  • Well to clone more troopers would mean spending more money but for the UNSC they would join without being paid

  • Who thinks that star wars would kick the covent but in 1 month. For UNSC it took 3 or more months.

  • The Empire has its own little rebel problem (Big enough, that there was a need to build 2 planetscale weapons.) and one major problem.

They can't attack the UNSC - Cole Protocol should be intact. And because the Empire has no direct link to the Forerunner (A link the covenant had.), they can't target any planets in UNSC space, because they can't locate them. Thus they have to remain in defense, in which they have proofed their lack of competence.

    q.e.d.

  • @Zamoone1337 The rebellion actually got stupidly lucky, because due to its incredibly small size the empire didn't pay it much credit, remember, the whole of their forces commonly fit into one small space, the rebellion would pose no problem if the empire had to drop some ass whooping on the UNSC, and the Cole Protocol would mean anything, the UNSC has what, ~200 planets, and thats a large estimate, the Empire has a whole Galaxy's worth of resources (two more if they're smart) to hunt them down.

  • @wookie95020

The Empire has to guard a galaxy of planets, that is a huge quota of their fleet. Additionally, even small in size rebellions can cripple their logistics and undermine their influence, as shown in the movies.

200 systems, hidden in the Milkyway (2*10^11 systems), good luck finding them, before lay bombs on your vital planets. As far as i know, planetkoordinations are commen knowlegde in the Empire.

To others: Collapsing protostars is sooo over the top mighty, it's ridiculous.

  • @Zamoone1337 Remember that whole cloning thing? yeaaaaah, solves the guard the galaxy thing right there, plus the rebellion won with a combination of plot armor and unbelievable good luck, we all know that if storm troopers COULD have actually shot Luke, Han, and Leia, those two would have died ~1 hour into the first movie, so realistically the rebellion isn't a problem at all. And over the top? you mean like a nuke that can destroy a planet, because I think the UNSC can has those.

  • @wookie95020 Cloning costs massive amounts of money and time. If you think about it: Cloning only grants you absolut loyal troops, but that only helps you, if you are revolting. Recruiting is cost effectiv and way faster.

Plot armor is legitimate - the rebellion as depicted in the main series.

A supernova destroys thousands of systems, glassing or bombing a planet a single surface. It would take hours and days, to create a single bomb, but only one sith for the other. Ergo way to overpower!

  • @Zamoone1337 The Republic managed to clone and entire army without breaking the bank and the Empire is about the same financially, I'm sure it would be fine, and like hell plot armor is legit! If under realistic circumstances someone would be dead, then for this purpose it should be held in consideration, the rebellion would have never made it past the first death star. And it is totally over powered, one more thing the Empire has the UNSC doesn't, am I right?

  • @wookie95020 Questionable. You will get into the Dragonballlop, where someone get's progressivly more powerfull, to the point, where destroying a planet is a common thing. I consider that overpowered.

Contrary to that, 'plot armor' is what George Lucas wanted us to see. Not the most realistic of things, but a symbol for a small, determined and lucky revolte. It just showed how weak an opressive regime can be.

Strong on the big scale, but weak on the little. David vs. Goliath, as UNSC vs. Empire.

  • @Zamoone1337 Have you actually watched the Star Wars movies, those three had plot armor like a battle tank has armor, Storm Troopers, some of whom were actually BORN to fight, miss them, every shot, ever, I call that plot armor in the extreme, and it doesn't matter if its OP, Sith can and do, do shit like that, hell Darth Nihilus friggin ate planets, face it, the Sith are just way more powerful, the UNSC would fight hard I'll give them that, but they'd lose all the same.

  • @wookie95020

Yeah, I love how everyone is forgetting that ONE Sith could probably take on a battalion of Spartans.

  • @Zodiac11111 lol the empire would just use the deathstar to blow up earth, then reach, then every other UNSC planet. Yeah the empire is way ahead of the UNSC :O

  • @Donut1298 one thing... HALO!!!! there's 7 of them and they each have a MASSIVE range, the empire could get themselves blown to pieces without knowing what hit them >:D and just in case that halo was discovered? just destroy the flood containment facilities... the force will be useless >:D oh, and sith can only target one object at a time with the force, so if 300 Spartans were running up to a sith ... it won't be pretty.

  • @4thlovora true, i dont know who would win, we would have to see and watch

  • @4thlovora Ever play force unleased? Starkiller rips apart a star destroyer, and that is (oddly) all canon, 300 spartans wouldn't stand a chance, plus the Halo array only works in that galaxy, the Empire has 3, so grats UNSC on destroying yourselves, the Empire still wins.

  • @Zodiac11111 i think YOU are forgetting that one flood spore can destroy an entire race!!!

  • @4thlovora

If a Spartan can get rid of the flood, so could a Jedi/Sith.

  • @Zodiac11111 unless he can stop time, no he can't

  • @ChaosAndGreed

If he can move at lightning fast speed, use the force to disguise his appearance and a little something I call Jedi mind control, yes he can.

  • @Zodiac11111 "sith"

    "jedi"

    there is problem number one.

Problem number 2: that only works on weak minded simpletons, which are not spartans

I have never seen a shape shifting force power, but infrared kinda renders that useless

He can move faster than a regular human, but probably not a "lightning fast speeds", and even then, the Spartans could keep up.

    Plus, Sniper Rifles

  • @ChaosAndGreed

    A) When Darth Bane was a common soldier (before he learned to use the force), he was able to snipe 12 people when there was nothing but smoke in a few seconds

    B) Sith are stronger, if you read the books you'd know this---ONLY a FEW exceptions like Luke Skywalker

    C) There are shape shifting force users, once again the BOOKS---I read all the SW AND Halo books so don't bother debating

    d) YES, they move at lightning fast speed, once again READ the books before you talk SHIT

  • @Zodiac11111 I did read the books.

Darth Bane, even then, had the Force. Linda, a Spartan, could down enemy fighters while hanging upside down, one hand on the rifle, one bullet, ricochet shots.

Sith may be stronger, but it's rather difficult for even a sith to stop something that moves at 15 kilometers in a second.

    Infrared, bitch

I did read the books, and they never moved a lighting speed. Even then, a spartan could keep up.

Also, it's the empire; there are only 2 sith.

    Vs 75 around 1000

  • @ChaosAndGreed

End of first book, described Zannah as running at lightning fast speed

There are Sith accolytes+the bodyguards of palpatine--had knowledge of the force to a certain extent

WAY better technology-----Empire=Galactic colonizatio UNSC=Solar colonization

Darth Vader tried training Sith apprentices, even as going so far as to making a cloning mechanism (Force Unleashed II) so the Empire could produce even more Sith( although against Darth Bane BUT vader doesn't give a cr*p)

  • @Zodiac11111

First of all - don't get personal and stay on the topic. In Germany you dont capitalize 'q.e.d.' because it's latin.

Second - don't make use of the starwars-books. Everything you argue with is childish exaggerations, where you leave the realm of science-fiction and enter fantasy. With magic and your average super saja-sith.

Then the Empire needed thousands of years to get to the colonization it now has, divided in thousands ethnics and races. The UNSC is way more homogen.

  • @Zamoone1337

That's why the UNSC is less likely to succumb to a revolution from within than the Empire.

On the technology standpoint: Maybe (just maybe) the Empire has superior technology, but it hasn't had notable progress in decades or centuries. Thus the UNSC is more versatile and can adapt the forerunnertech. way faster. And the Forerunners were undisputable more advanced than anyone mentioned here.

  • @Zamoone1337

In math,at least, you capitalize QED.

In Latin, you don't usually shorten the phrase, you have to fully right out "quod erat demonstrandum".

    No per

  • @Zodiac11111 Has nothing to do with the argument whatsoever, but please!

I'm from Germany, where it is common to abbreviate 'quod erat demonstrandum' with 'q.e.d.' because of their native language. I don't and a cannot care, what you might think of this.
