Can someone answer the following question:

Is the pre fade built-in (hearing in your headphones a deck withouth the people hearing it)? I used to have a Numark Total control. I liked the machine, but I needed to use an external sound card (DJ IO) and I didn't like the wire mess that it created.

I bought the BCD3000 with traktor LE,.. but can't run it properly(on a MAC) i can only hear the master, or headphones only,..but i cant play through the master and then headphone CUE , the same is when i run it with virtual dj (version 6.0.1 mac) :( and i tried like most of the input/output settings,...please can you tell me what settings or plug-ins i need

this is easy mixing, I got a Hercules DJ RMX as christmaspresent and I can do this without headphones. Normally I mix vinyls with a friend, that's lots harder tan mixing with a midiplayer. please upload some real mixing, not just pasting songs like you did in this vid!!!

mix programs like these are so easy, just pressing a button and it's beatmatched. when it's matched and you hear and see the song is ending it's just opening the master of the deck of the next song...so really easy like I said and almost anyone can do this with a midi-player and about an hour of practice

You're right, if you're mixing like you would do on turntables it's really easy. This mix was easy to make. But I've become a lot better since then, now I'm trying to get really creative and use 4 decks. I'm thinking of buying an A&H Xone:4D to control Traktor pro with. Hey, I use BCD3000 with Traktor LE and I'm having trouble keeping the Sync, it always drifts away.

If you don't mind, I would love it if you can share your .tks file for Traktor (Mac OS). I have tried to map Traktor on my Mac but haven't managed.

Je headphones plug je dan niet meer in je BCD3000. Er zijn ook speciale DJ interface te krijgen. Waarom zou je dit willen doen dan? Is de geluidskaart van je BCD3000 kapot?

Yes that's a good idea :) Just test the thing before you buy it. You can download a little program to test the midi output of the device really easy. the output should be from 0 to 127 with al controls. Good luck with it :)

Thanks :) I have had some gigs with it, it's easy to bring it to a gig and it works just fine :) I had no problems really, but don't forget to use a light, because the buttons don't light up.

When you use it with a mac, it's great :) On a windows pc you can have some driver issues, especially on windows Vista. With XP it should work fine. U have to remember that the bcd3000 is very cheap, so don't expect top of the line build quality. The build quality isn't that bad though. It's a great machine to learn how to DJ with :)

Total Control doesn't have a built in sound card, so you need to purchase an external sound card unless you already have one. I have a BCD3000 and I would recommend it :)

ik zit zelf ook zwaar te twijfelen om er een te kopen maar ik vraag me af of het geluid via je (in jou geval) laptop gaat of moet je externe boxen aansluiten?

Als je wil kun je het zo instellen dat er geluid uit je laptop of pc komt, is wel een gekloot en volgens mij kan dat alleen met een mac (samengestelde geluidskaart). Normaliter komt het signaal uit de masteruitgang van je bcd die je op externe speakers moet aansluiten.
