why is the music sounding different on here than the version I seen? it seems like they re did this or something. and I am not talking about the 2004 version, but it seems like this scene was redone or something.
I wish I could strap down the so-called "zombie" fans and have them watch this. In my opinion, you don't know jack about zombies because you watched Zombieland or Shaun of the Dead! Watch the classics!
This ALWAYS gets me into the October / Halloween mood. It's so bleak and haunting to imagine...and seriously...I still think it would be so badass if someone opened a concert with this beat.
I know that Gorillaz used to sample Day of the Dead and some of this movie, and thought it would be genius to play this as an intro and have it blasting out of those giant speakers. Even if people didn't know what it's from, it would send chills up their spine and do the trick ;)
The zombie at 0:47 made me afraid of camo for the longest time.
First time I saw this film, I was 8 and I swear it made me so scared of zombies that I had to sleep with my parents for about 2 years. And now, ironically, it's one of my favorite films.
Have you added music to this ?

the 70's era was great for zombie movies, horror movies in general. Great sight and feel to them.

@FerrariCarr One of my favourite movies, too. It left a massive impression on me as a 10 year old, back in 1981.

This scene alone is better than most movies to be honest.
Probably only because its the exact atmosphere / tone / music i would think of when thinking of zombies.
And the directing of George Romero just adds soooo much to this scene (mainly helicopter sequence).
