No, SRW tends to use a version of the Shin Getter based on what it would have been in the original anime. When Shin Getter appears in the OVAs it's based off this Shin Getter. Shin Shine Spark appeared in @1 as a weaker attack than Stoner Sunshine. It was apparently forgotten by the OVA teams, as Stoner Sunshine was used in the mangas to great effect. They decided @3 needed a new final attack to tie up Getter, so they gave Shin Shine Spark back, with increased power.
I see. But what did they base Shin Shine Spark off? In @1 Getter Robo can use a "normal" version of this attack. Is the original version also an exclusive to the SRW games?
The non-Shin version of the Shine Spark is the strongest attack of the Getter Dragon, the second generation getter. It appears in the anime and manga virtually unchanged.
Shin Getter has the Shin Shine Spark to demonstrate the moves greater power with the stronger Getter.
No, that is the thing that appeared at the end of Armageddon but that was and is the Getter Ark, a Getter powered colony ship. The Getter Ark is much longer than the Emperor 1, which is more rounded.
from the start actually, but he doesnt have the Shin Shine Spark yet, he only knows the Stoner Sunshine at first, but he "learns" the Shin Shine Spark so dont worry! and man the scenario when they "learn" it is SOOOO FREAKIN EPIC!
Quite early actually. Somewhere in the teens. You also get Mazinkaiser and the GP-03 Orchis around the same time, though Shin Getter gets Shin Shine Spark in the 30s and Mazinkaiser gets the Scrander back for Kaiser Nova even later.
Well my friend, the Shin Getter is using this move because the Shin that they are using in the SRW games is the one in the manga, this is the more powerful form of all SG. There he can use this move and also can shoot several Stuners Sunshines in a second, called Stuner Storm. Sadly, this move is not yet implemented. Hope to see that sometime soon.
Now if only he continued on by doing an open get while still surging with the energy of the spark and did a TRIPLE SHIN SHINE SPARK!!!

Is it odd that I think Clown Master managed to fit more than the actual Getter theme?

The regular Getter theme has never fit Shin Getter particularly well.

They are different Ryoumas, yes. MX featured the classic anime Getter Robo G while Alpha 3 had the darker manga storyline.
Zvveihammer 3 years ago
Not really. They adapted the Shin Getter to the anime storyline in the @ series.

More accurately:
"Uaaargh! O...Ore no Baikuran ga!" Possibly something along the lines of 'Onoes! I fucked up!"
Raikomaru 5 years ago
"Baikuran" (I've seen it translated as "Vayikra") is the name of his robot. So he's actually going "noooo, my robot!"

I think he speaks of the Getter Armageddon version of the Getters. Which are immensely overpowered, and thats a good thing.

I didn't make this video...I don't even know where most of these came from originally. XD
I think this is a boss theme for the boss getting killed, though?
Phlogistic 6 years ago
I wish Shin Getter had its own theme song, like Mazinkaiser. The one you picked is very appropriate!
TrejoDuneSea 6 years ago
That wasn't picked. That boss theme (Clown Master) always plays when you attack Hazal's Vaikran.
eraser122 6 years ago
Some Bosses have thier own theme songs that overwrites your theme song. This rule also applies when someone on Enemy Phases pulls out MAP attacks.
kitelanford 5 years ago
That's true. Although unless you're using very weak robots, you'll almost always dodge an enemy's MAP ATTACk due to the low accuracy on average.
MrEh 5 years ago
There's one exception: Trombe! (Nothing short of a song played on 4+ ship sized speakers in game can override that)
