  • I love thsi video!!! Hermione's probably one of my favorites, but oh well! This video's really good!

  • Comment removed

  • Hermione is one of my favorite characters, but this was a good video nonetheless. And I love this song ♥

    Great vid :)

  • I never would have taken it here; I love it!

  • Hermione Ginger MUHAHAHAHA

  • this is awesome! it's incredible how the video matches to the song so much. i love how it's harry and hermione :)

  • I love Emma Watson but sometimes I hate Hermione, she just get on my last nerves I know she means well in the both the books and the movies but, it get really annoying very quick. The reason why I am a H/G shipper and forever will be, is because Ginny is just a normal girl who we can relate to, yes she is "the little sister" but that is no reason to hate her. I'm done ranting but H/G forever!

  • @PETALS1992 I know what you mean exactly. Precisely! I think it makes her a better character the fact that she's a little sister; and makes her more suited to Harry instead of a girl he just meets in book six and gets on with. Ginny's brilliant in the books, a real breath of fresh air. Not to sound cheesy or anything but it's true, compared to Hermione. Ah, I agree! Thank you for commenting and watching!

  • @HarryPotterCat Oh you are most welcome and I was so hoping that someone would have commented on it. Because most fans I have spoken to worship Hermione, yes she smart, but she isn't better than Ginny and those who adore Hermione hate Ginny which I cannot understand

  • @PETALS1992 Aye, I love discussions about things like this.

I know! Hermione can get annoying. Admittedly Ginny's not perfect, but Ginny gives life to the series. It's like, Oh! There's Ginny! and an automatic assumption that the scene in the book would be great because Ginny's there for the good parts whereas Hermione's there for it through it all.

Yeah, right? Ginny fans don't hate Hermione. It's crazy.

  • @HarryPotterCat Me too! I feel like we have the same mindset, weird, haha but yes I do agree, Ginny isn't perfect. But she has a feisty spirit, that is good when compared to Hermione, don't get me wrong, I love both of them dearly, but Ginny is far more I don't know, easier to be around. Like who would rather be stuck in a room concept, Ginny or Hermione. and thank you for continuing to reply its lovely :)

  • @PETALS1992 Precisely!

Ginny's fiery and brilliant; Hermione's intellectual and strong in a different way. That's totally true. It'd be more natural hanging around with Ginny, she seems to get on with everybody - even though she didn't know Harry that well in OotP she still hung out with him. And even say, at the start of OotP when she almost calls Luna "Loony" on the train she covers it up in an easy way instead of Hermione who would be too ... wordy about it.

Thank you to you too! I agree :)

  • @HarryPotterCat You are most welcome!

  • OMG I LOVE IT I'M SO OBSESSED WITH HARRY POTTER I READ THEM ALL IN IN LIKE A WEEK LAST YEAR AND I JUST STARTED THE FIFTH ONE YESTERDAY AND I'M ALREADY ON PAGE 268 BECAUSE I READ REALLY FAST AND I'M SO OSESSED WITH THEM IT HURTS THAT THEY'RE NOT REAL AND I CAN NEVER GO TO HOGWARTS AND MEET HARRY AND HERMIONE AND THE WEASLEYS AND THE DURSLEYS AND DUMBLEDORE AND ALL THE TEACHERS AND FUDGE AND EVERYONE! (I'm serious, it physically hurts somewhere in my heart or my soul or something like that.)

  • Good vid. I think song pretty much summed up Cho's insecurities and misinterpretations about Harry and Hermione's friendship in the book.

  • @reevesdamn Thank you. I know, that's why I chose this song; but I do think Harry could have explained the Hermione situation to Cho in the book, though :]

  • I like how you used Hermione in this. It seems that everyone loves Hermione an everyone hates you if you don't. Ginny and Cho get a lot of hate, for no reason at all. I think Cho is actually a good person, but she was just confused and upset about Cedric. Hermione is such a Mary-Sue in the movies and I'm sick of "Hermione this" and "Hermione that" when the other girls of Harry Potter should get some spotlight too.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 EXACTLY. Because "she shows girl power and how it's great that you can be intelligent without needing a man". Well, Ginny kicks ass and she never needed a man to complete her, so I agree, I don't see why Hermione gets all the limelight.

Aye, if you ever badmouth Hermione for even the smallest reason people kick off at you. Yet everybody thinks it's perfectly fine to call Cho a sl*t. I agree, I used to hate her too but then I understood how hurt and confused she was after Cedric.

  • @HarryPotterCat

You're so right! It's not all about Hermione. People have no problem with making fun of Ginny, but people simply can't make fun of Hermione. I personally think she can seem rather annoying in the movies, like a Mary-Sue. Hermione isn't even supposed to be that pretty.

I know! It's not right. Hermione isn't perfect.

Same here. I used to call her a slut because of what she did to Harry, but then I realized that she was dealing with a lot of emotions and she's human.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Ginny is THE Mary-Sue in the books, are you kidding? Everyone loves her, thinks she's pretty, thinks she's funny, good Quidditch player, blah, blah, BLAH.

  • @AccioHHr

Not everyone loves her. She can act like a brat. Maybe she is pretty. Is that so hard to believe that someone can be attractive? She is a good quidditch player because she had tons of practice taking out each of her brother's brooms out in turn while no one was looking.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 My point is that if you know anything about literature, Ginny is the epitome of a Mary-Sue - attractive, good at everything, funny, well-liked. My God, she even has the adorable pet and how much does JK mention her "flowery smell". I'm not debating feelings, I'm saying she is a typical Mary-Sue wherein Hermione is a much more rounded, and flawed, character.

  • @AccioHHr

You know, I hate how everyone thinks that about Ginny because she really isn't. The books are in Harry's POV really, and he finds Ginny attractive, so the books say she's attractive and therefore, the flowery smell.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Okay, I think I'm with you here. Ginny's fierce in the books, exactly the opposite of a Mary-Sue. And it is Harry's opinion that counts.

(Oh, about what you said with Hermione not supposed to be that pretty - I know, right)

Ginny's brave, beautiful and funny, but yes, she does act like a brat sometimes. She can be really mean to Ron, so I think that combats the Mary-Sue image.

Though I do agree that Hermione's flawed, she's more of a Mary-Sue than Ginny.

    Calm down, girls :) <3

  • @HarryPotterCat

Exactly. Ginny might have some Mary-Sue traits, (what fiction girl doesn't?) but that doesn't make her a Mary-Sue. She's not perfect. When she's angry it's not always justified.

In the movies, it seems like Hermione is the Mary-Sue. In the books she's flawed, but still, not as flawed as Harry and Ron. In the movies she's beautiful, smart, and brave. Plus, the third movie made her seem like super woman when she stole Ron's lines.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Exactly! I think that makes her a better character, really.

Yeah, in the movies she's freaking perfect. Always has an answer for everything. Sometimes it's like she's only there to continue the plot; to speak the lines they can't have Luna or Ron or Draco for.

    WHAT LINES?!

Also, I don't like how everybody hates Lavender as well. She was normal up until book six (and afterwards) but due to one clingy flaw she's hated by every body, every where. It's silly.

  • @HarryPotterCat

I know, right? It's not like Ginny appears breathtaking to everyone and everyone absolutely loves her.

Hermione can be really annoying in the movies, too. I thought it was weird that she calls Ron 'Ronald' sometimes when she didn't in the books. It's like she's his mother or something. I know, right? She always takes everyone lines and is always around Harry. It's so stupid. The movies make people think Harry/Hermione is likely.

I agree. I bet Lavender is a somewhat good person.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Precisely! Ron dislikes Ginny; Draco hates Ginny.

Yeah, right? She's not as emotional as she is in the books, she's not as deep. I think the movie Hermione is just trying to be TOO smart so she just sounds ridiculous. Like, trying to hard to be intellectual.

I know! In the books, okay, there was a vague hint, but it was buried under stacks of counter-evidence. In the films, there IS no counter-evidence. It's crazy.

Yeah, she was decent in books three and four.

  • @HarryPotterCat

I wouldn't say Ron dislikes her, I think Ron and Ginny are very close, but they can argue often. Draco on the other hand, hates Ginny. I also hate how people pair Ginny with Draco, I mean, it makes no sense at all. They hate each other's guts, and he'd be so mean to her friends.

I know! Have you noticed Emma always raises her eyebrows in the movies?

I know! I hate all the Harry/Hermione bull in the movies! It takes away from the important things.

    Yeah, I know. Lavender's cool.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Thats true. I know right! I mean, maybe there's a shred, a small shed of Dramione (if Draco magically turned his hatred into love) but Ginny and Draco would never go there. Gosh, yes, he'd be such a bully to Luna and aye, even the ones the books don't mention.

I KNOW! It's so annoying! I mean, if she has a twitch then fine, but she's always like, "HONESTLY, am I the only one who's clever around here?"

Precisely. They miss out a lot because of that.

    She is indeed.

  • @HarryPotterCat

Deep down inside, there's a scared, insecure little boy inside of Draco. Even though this is true, Draco and Hermione, Draco and Ginny, Draco and Luna, and etc. wouldn't work out. Plus, Hermione is a 'mud-blood', Ginny is a 'blood traitor' and Luna is just weird to him.

I think she raises her eyebrows to make it seem like she's being serious or something. I like Emma a lot, but still. I know! She's always like, "HONESTLY, Ronald..." She doesn't know everything.

    I hate H/Hr.

  • @AnimeStargrl15

    CONTINUED...

One of the reasons is that the fans are so delusional and mean to other shippers and their ships. It's not our faults Harmony didn't work out, geez.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Continued again :D

I like Emma too, but she is too self-assured in the movies that gets annoying.

Gods, I hate that. Anything's possible if you use imagination, so I hate that people deliberately go out of their way to be all, "HARRY AND GINNY 4EVA" or "CHO SUX" or the things they all write, because it's just silly. I know, right?

  • @HarryPotterCat

I know! In the movies I feel like it's all about her. When I go onto HP websites and see more stuff about Emma than Daniel, I'm like, "Give me a break."

I know, right? Those people just give us a bad name. I mean, I support H/G, but I don't go around on other videos saying "Harry nd Ginny r meant to be!!!" I mean, well, obviously, if they got married. Just saying something like, "HG foreva" is just stupid, because it doesn't mean anything really. I don't think you suck, Cho.

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Precisely! I mean, Emma's graceful and dignified but still, Daniel's the star of the whole thing. Rupert Grint hardly gets any coverage compared to Emma.

Precisely. People out there are all, "Gods, Potter fans are so childish and obsessive." which is not all of us, just those select few. Haha, aye, if you're going to comment on a video at least put something meaningful (not you, them) Like how people comment on Justin Bieber's videos just to slag him off. Ah, same, she's lovely.

  • @HarryPotterCat

I know, right? Rupert is the best actor out of all three of them, IMO, and he barely gets any spotlight at all, because SOOOO many people are H/Hr supporters. I mean, they can like it, fine, but when they start pretending it really happened and start bashing other ships and characters, they're crossing the line. So many H/Hr supporters bash Ron and Ginny. So annoying.

LOLwhut? More like the twilight fans. XD

I know! I mean, that's just cruel. They don't even know him.

    Go Cho!

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Precisely! He's seriously realistic, completely in character, but he doesn't get any appreciation for it.

Precisely. The evidence for H/Hr is nothing compared to the blatant proof of Ron and Ginny instead. I mean, seriously. And H/Hr supportors tend to hate Ron because he LEFT HERMIONE IN DEATHLY HALLOWS and to be honest, it made him a better person.

So true xD Gods, they're the worst.

Precisely! He's successful, so dudes just let him enjoy it.

    Woooh!

  • @HarryPotterCat

It's so unfair. It's all because of Steve Kloves fault, too. Just because HIS favorite character is Hermione he has to push Ron to the side, give her everyone's lines, and put in tons of H/Hr moments.

It did. Plus, Ron was really stressed about his family, too and he had the locket on.

The Harmony fans can be so cruel. They think they can write HP better than J.K. Rowling. XD

  • @AnimeStargrl15 Did I reply to this? I don't remember getting the email for it so sorry I replied late! Dx

That's true. People don't realize how vulnerable he really is. I think that makes him more of a deeper character than others can imagine. I think you're right, even if they did get together he's just not a compatible match. Aye, even Pansy he got bored of; it seems he was only "dating" her to prove something to himself.

That makes sense. Or to emphasize her point.

  • Awesome!
