Bioshock isn't scary o.O there isn't even gore in this game!

Bioshock to me was more along the lines of interesting and a tad bit creepy.. but not really, as you were rarely in the dark in this game.

The game isn't that scary. There are a few "oh shit where did that thing come from" moments, but mostly its just a survival game. Well, its not *just* a survival game...it redefines the genre.

my first playthrough of the game i was scared out of my wits! every1 is insane, and the music, THE MUSIC is just rediculous! wait until you open a safe, the lights go out, and u hear some crazy beat, then all of a sudden someone whispers "heeeeeeeey" and the lights go on, 8 splicers there, omg this game is amazing.

You should read some articles on a Wiki dedicated to Bioshock probably. There are many very good explanations, descriptions and whatnot... spoilers too though, so be careful. But yeah, to put it short, Rapture was supposed to be an utopia which became torn by a sort of civil war. As a major factor/weapon in the war there were controlled genetic mutations such as plasmids and tonics based on ADAM, a substance that caused large mental and cosmetic damage... In a nuthsell it's like that.

This game has the best looking water effects I've ever seen in a game. The sound is incredible too. I would (and I will) play this game over and over just for those 2 things.

Have you noticed that in the very first cinematic (in the plane), on the package you're holding the note says "would you kindly not open until..."
