  • needing a ,little help. I have a 1989 bronco and the break lights arent working but they will come on if i bush up on the breake light switch with my hand. Any advice on how to fix this?

  • what a idiot, how to FIX !!!! wanker

  • the worst and the most useless and least helpful guy on the internet

  • FAIL!!!

  • The info in this video was very helpful to me. That brake light of mine won't go off at all and I was getting so irritated I just started taking out the brake light fuse when I turn my truck off. Thanks dude!!!

  • I like how he is speaking English an they need subtitles to understan him.

  • Useless video.. didn't teach me how to fix it.

  • this old man show how to fix the switch he want u go to him and pay him money just like a cook would share his recipe my guess is he not even a real mech

  • they talk to u like ur dumb

im 13 and already know all this.

im almost done fixing my car. i have been teaching myself all the mechanics

  • @dnl5649 well yeah, becasue the reason youre watching this video is to learn so they wanna explain how to fix it and what you're fixing

  • there is a pin that secures the brake buster and the brake pedal, depending on the model of the car you have to disengage both and detach the brake switch, inside this there are presure spring so when the brake is applied it makes contact so it lights in the back, when the pedal is released the spring moves the contact back, is better to change the switch mine cost only 7 dollars. sorry about my english . hope this help

  • thank you for this information. It really helped me out.

  • That is stupid..... I know the problem, or else I wouldnt look up 'How to fix a STUCK brake light!' I how about you show it?

  • this guys a douchebag

  • You guys are not listening to what the man says. He said it was above the brake peddle on most cars so why does he need to show it?

  • @AndrewKFletcher Because some of us need that visual feedback in order to figure out what we're doing. Yes, I know that it's above the brake pedal. I don't know what it looks like. Since I don't know what it looks like, I won't be able to find it, and chances are, I'll rip apart something I don't want to rip apart.

  • @Zedda82 Well, I changed mine on a picasso using the info from this video without needing any other instructions. The switch was black, square, had a plunger that depresses with brake peddle pressure and two wires coming from it, one in and one out. On the picasso, the plastic switch just pushes into the hole, removing it required very little effort, whole change took approximately 5 minutes.

  • because there isnt shit above my brake pedal

  • Thats was stupid.

  • You'd think in a post titled "How to fix a stuck brake light", he'd actually SHOW you how to fix it. Yeah, I know what the culprit is, but show me how to FIX the dang thing!!!!

  • Man - this is great! i was just taking a shot in the dark. Lo and behold i found your vid.

Next time, at least show the general area of where things are located, for us amateurs.
