Now the business side. He is the guy who will make the most money for Idol. Good business sense would be to keep him in the running by nudging him along without making it obvious. As far as I can see, and I've felt this way for the past 3 weeks or so... Adam has no competition. The closest competition might be Alison whatshername; she's pretty awesome too.

He leaves everybody else in the dust when he steps off the stage. He must have alot of haters in that bunch. Probably wishing he would lose his voice or something.
