this is exactly what i've needed i've pretty much been on chords for awhile learning singing and playing then picking up a few riffs here and there. humourous and informative thank you so much. saved me lots of money guitar lessons where a guy would have me doing things i've already taught myself how to do
I have to say, after stumbling across your lessons while looking for good acoustic guitar lessons on youtube, I watched the first lesson in the series, and almost didn't want to watch the second. It seemed sort of sloppily put together and not very carefully or professionally done.
But I'm glad I decided to watch the second video. It's clear you really know your stuff. I look forward to learning more with these lessons.
Amazing. I paused vid to the finger last chart after erasing 2 frets. Just spend alittle time playing around and you will be amazed. I thought lets play a song and see if the notes stick to dotted frets on the chart. Darned if they didn't. No better guitar instruction on youtube
well, remember he said thatr although he said before B&C and E&F ALWAYS stick togther. which they do!
But in this instance. In moving the scales up, so they are UNDERNEATH your fingers which will be playing, example A and D at top of fret board. Thats the plan for now
So in this instance you dig that we count the scales from 1 to 8, right. Now remeber that the numbers 3&4 and 7&8 stick togther.
So take the first note of scale , A, we are going 'backwards aren't we.
so A, which is number 1, becomes 8. So you then know that 7&8 alwats stick togther on these cales, so next note to it going back is 7. and then you are trqnsposing the pattern of the scale backwards. Is this clearer. let me know
Still a little confusing since I'm begining to understand keys progression and leads, but just from watching you can tell it can be some useful information. Anyone who plays guitar should watch these videos.

So when you we're soloing you in A you just play the notes from A on the 2nd string to A on 3rd string or Did you just play the A notes in the scale.

the sound of the 4th fred 3rd string is just lt the open 2nd strind.
isn't it a problem in a scale ? isn't it supposed to be all different sounds ?
