@starwarsguy0007 Not this particular sequence no. This was done using a combination of physical models and composited footage from the videogames Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike and Jedi Starfighter. If you watch the video again, check out the text commentary during the vid. I do plan on doing some iClone stuff with this, but my first iClone project will involve Battlestar Galactica. :)
Hi, Soundmixer. It's briefly explained in the annotations in the video...but, basically I videotaped the ships from Jedi Starfighter and Rebel Strike III. Then I took the shots of the blockade runner and star destroyer that came from those games and isolated them using Adobe Image Ready. Then I was able to create a greenscreen background for each, and they became chroma-keyable elements for the video. :)
Many thanks for the 5/5 and the kind words. :) Yeah, this whole sequence from first shot to final mixdown took the entire night. I started in the later evening, and didn't get finished until about 8:00 the next morning. I need to get motivated to work on more stuff like this, because I've got some ideas... :)
=) Good vid none the less and it was probebly a Depressed and brooding Vader piloting. =P On his cell phone to EHarmony to find Padme's Replacement =P
Many thanks. :) To give you an update, the starfighter stock animations are coming along very well. Admittedly, the animations for starfighters won't be as frame intensive as the test shot of the Big G was. Starfighters are faster, and don't need a fraction of the frames. The most arduous part of this process will be animating the characters themselves. I am endeavoring to get this done in under a year. Thanks again for the kind words Chillyche. :) Most appreciated.
Thanks, RollerGalVal. I was actually thinking of doing something really big like Star Wars vs. Star Trek, or Star Trek vs Battlestar Galactica, or Battlestar Galactica old series vs. Battlestar Galactica new series. Or a battle royale. :D Something funny eh? Well, I do have some action figures I've yet to open and throw into the mix. Thanks for the kind words, Val. :)
cool thanks
