Sorry but this video is largely bullshit. Very moderate consumption of alcohol actually helps with reducing the risk of heart disease. Red wine especially is healthy for you in moderate consumption. Trying to justify the outlawing of something based on your superstitious religion is bullshit. Islam, like any other religion, is a lineage of myths that people are culturally brainwashed into believing in. I for one love whisky, and no moon God blood prophet is going to stop me.
Ironically the oldest evidence of the mass use of alcohol for recreational purposes is in those countries which strictly forbid it's consumption these days. Drinking alcohol is much older than Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I'm not looking for a religious argument or health argument, just saying what's true.
it worked in medina because people thought that there was a guy in the sky who was going to burn them forever and ever in hell if they drank. nothing noble about, just plain old fear of stories.
@bosservandal What are they (athiests and polytheists) asking one another about? About the great news (the resurrection, the Quran, the day of judgement) That over which they are in disagreement. No! They are going to know. Then no! They will come to know . Have We not made the earth a resting place ? 78:1-6 I guess we'll just find out. If its True or not.
yea but by then you will have wasted your life living under the 1400 year old opinions of a guy who, like many others, realized that the best way to spread and put his views into reality was to make people around him believe that there was a supernatural being that you couldn't see and who as it happened only he could talk to that wanted the same thing. good way to control people who would then indoctrinate their kids in the same thing and bring his "perfect" world into fruition.
Yes, it's true, alcohol does has some benefits, but the harms outweigh the benefits as mentioned in the Qur'an:
[2:219] They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, "In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit..."
@Torcika Sure there are benefits in alcohol, I've never denied that. but the harms outweigh the benefifs. statisics clearly prove the negative impacts like drinking and driving, domesic violence, liver diseases etc. righthealth. c-o-m topic effects from alcohol. no one can deny that the harms have outweighed the benefits in history so far.
@Torcika The previous article was about drinking moderate. This MED.UNSW THE HARMFUL EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL is further clearification. Someone may say but what if we consume ONLY the amount that will benefit. The CREATOR knows HIS creation, and that they won't do so, so HE legislated for them a beautiful law. Which is the perfect solution regarding the issue.
The wine of paradise is free from all negative effects as mentioned in the Qur'an:
[37:45-47] There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring. white and delicious to the drinkers; No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. Or in another translation: "They will not be polluted or exhausted from it.''
HeHe, I am polish, my grandfather used to make moonshine. I reverted ti Islam. Nevertheless, I tasted it when I was a Christian...Until this day, I can not understand why and how people can drink it?!
Alcohol in moderation is fine and has proven health benefits for the hart, it's the abuse of alcohol that is wrong and dangerous.

@wrealmedia Have you not read Moderately?
that doesn't mean intoxication

The word in arabic is "Khamr" which is the word used to refer to "alcohol" Just ask anyone who speaks Arabic and alcohol is a form of intoxication.

Can you give me a study that has shown drinking rare,in a moderate way is intoxicating?
