@GeorgeKPatton Firstly, "clean" William Shatner clips are hard to find. There was no publicly available soundboard when I made this at the start of 2008. Sometimes the best soundboard pank calls have limited clips. The humour comes from repetition. More clips doesn't always make it funnier.

My other complaint bout soundboard pranks is 90% of the time the person being oranked can't even hear what the soundboard is sayin. I figured you could just record your own clips for the board. How do u get lines?

It started out as though it were going to be very funny, as the first potential prank victim genuinely attempted to communicate. But, ultimately, the piece fails, because - as AdognamedOp pointed out - nobody else gave the prank even a modicum of seriousness, and the viewers (us) sit at our computers in disbelief that the same soundbites are being used over and over. Although it was a very funny idea, it wasn't executed very well.

@davidthegreen No, jupitertboj is correct. The first call was funny, but the others were definitely not. If I want to hear the same lines over and over with no interaction from any prank victims, I'll just click on the soundboard myself. The whole point of a prank CALL is the victim's reaction.

Often what separates the average pranks from the greats is good editing to remove the boring parts. This video should have been ended at 1:35.
