i bought one today and put it into my mini baja with a dynamite mini tazer speed controller and it dosnt seem to run any faster than it did stock, can i have a little bit of help? btw if i bought lipo batts would that increase the speed?

you need a bigger pinion gear like only a couple of teeth bigger that would give you more top end or it could be preset to only five you half throttle and lipo would increase top speed only by a few mph but it would be noticeable

how fast is it, i have exactly the same car with the same engine and speedcontrol, i am driving it on 9,6 volts. but mine aint that fast, have you switched the pinion from stock??

yeah he probably has a ok pinion for top speed and also pickup, like a 18t, and he might be using lipo batts, those ROCK
