yeah know....great two albums in the 80's.....his cameo apps on human drama nad eva o cds were great.....but now it looks like betty white out there at the videos ive seen..sorrry im in ok now
I loved "Close One Sad Eye", still a great record. But to call yourself a "Goth Legend" after writing 2 albums in 25 years is a but egotistical if you ask me. Give me Christian Death over KfK any day.
@twilightkinko I know there style changed so much. This is one of there origional songs though. But there new industrial stuff is horrible they arn't even deathrock/punk anymore and they are one of the bands who helped create the genre.
The other three are not being shown on camera, which seems to be quite focused on Patrick and Sherry, but they've always played with a full band to my knowledge. Based on the sound, the drums are obviously live, they're too sloppy not to be. They do use some sequencing and sampling on 23rd Curse, though. Cheers.
Did he just reform the band or has he been going since the 80's? I have one of their old albums(on vinyl no less!) that I used to listen to back in the day but I thought they broke up after the 2nd album.
"fangs" to JENNBATS for giving people here a chance to see what they missed out on (I traveled over a 1,000 for this show, stuck around for 45 Grave last night and it was worth it) now where's the stage footage of DAVEBATS ?!!! ;-)
Not even in the same genre, but Adam Ant's come back is FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE than this!

Great song, and I used to really like seeing these guys back in the day. First saw them at the Roxy over 20 years ago.
However, if I paid to see a band play to primarily backing tracks like this I'd be pretty disappointed.

The whole band's playing live here. Don't know what backing tracks you are hearing.

The bass, keyboards and drums unless they're invisible.

I stand corrected. Thanks.

I am friends with the person who Patrick hired to professionally film this concert. I can also guarantee it was a full band line up.

@jonthebeloved I saw KFK last year, it was just them 2 performing to backing tracks. There was no band.
