  • Enjoyable! I'd appreciate if you can provide more info such as orchestra & conductor. Best

  • Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra with Zubin Mehta conducting

  • thanks for the track. I had to audition this piece and didn't know how to play it haha

  • é maravilhosso nós leva a outro lugar!!

  • this reminds me of grieg's anitra's dance

  • Yes, you are right! Funny, one composer from Scandinavia, another Czech. But they both lived almost at the identical time - Grieg from 1843-1907, Dvorak from 1843-1904 so they may have influenced each other musically.

    Interesting fact to investigate.

  • but wasn't greig norweigen?

  • Yes, he was.

  • er, right then. any other dvorak pieces you recomend?

  • so are you a fan of grieg?

  • I'll go through my CD to get you some more Dvorak pieces.

Grieg has some lovely piano pieces. I'll post some up next.

  • great, thanks.

  • Piano Ballade, perhaps? :P

  • Thanks for the posting. Over the past few years this symphony has become my favorite classical work I also love Dvork 7th and 9th, as well as most of Dvorak's body of work, but for some reason the 8th has just grown on me. I heard it today on WCQS, Asheville, NC's Public Radio station and decided to look for it on You Tube. And here I am - enjoying this great work !

  • are symphonies 1-4 the same as 5-8?

  • thanks for sharing!!! :)
