Encephalitis-The battle of brain damage

My heart goes out to you and your son. I had Encephalitis when I was younger and I still suffer from problems. My legs are particularly weak, I have memory loss, I have trouble speaking (stuttering), my personality changed quite a bit from the person I was before, focusing is a problem and certain intestinal problems. Have you ever tired to put him on a ketogenic diet. I have read that it does wonders for epilepsy. It doesn't involve medication..... just a change in diet.

we had our 3 year old boy patient who suffers from viral encephalitis. he experienced 10-30 seizures a day..he was asleep for 2weeks and woke up on the christmas eve. doctors says it was a christmas miracle..as for now he's still in the hospital. he doesnt move or talk. :(

Its just like my son ayan who is suffering from permanent brain damage , cant see , cant talk and just lying on bed having 2 yrs old only .

I dont know what God has plans for these little flowers . Daniel and my son are really match . I dont knw what to do -- but one thing is sure the real parents will suffer till end but will never loose hope and we will continue our struggle to fine a cure ,

I WATCH A LITTLE BOY HERE IN TENNESSEE THAT HAS HERBES ENCEPHALITIS I FEEL YOUR PAIN HE JUST TURNED 2 THIS MONTH. THEY HAVE TO KEEP HIM ASLEEP WITH MEDS AT ALL TIMES BECAUSE OF THE PAIN HE HAS

OH! poor kid! i had encephalitis when i was three! i am now fifteen. its horrible i know what it feels like, i didn't have his type though, which is probably more severe. i'm praying for him...

My nephew has encephalitis :( It is horrible. He has the herpes encephalitis, But his is from cold sores. He is 4 years old and can't walk, talk, or anything. He has the brain of a 6 month old. Daniel will be in my prayers though.

it is really painful to see our son suffer from encephalitis. my son also got sicked with viral encephalitis when he was 2yrs and 10month old. After 2 yrs, he still can't talk, walk, and even stand. It is really painful
