If you would like to know where to find everything on how too get the makeup and hair correct, go to ebay and look for hannari-ya is the seller. They have everything from bathing items to makeup, to the little book and dvd that even shows you how to do all of this. :) Good luck. Okibari yasu minnahan.
@lindacat86 a maiko uses a special type pillow which is a block of wood with a small cusion on top and the rest their neck on the cusion and there head kind of gets supported up but im sure it would hurt alot

@PhoenixKyuketsuki It's a product that helps keep it in it's sculpted form, a maiko can only wash her hair once a week, so the style has to be strong

What is being used at 3:25 & 2:05 besides the ties?
The white speckles, are they the melted wax?
