man , i really onjoyed playing this game! (it was a pain in the ass in some spots, but still) but the ending, i did not see that one coming, i thought that they would kill arihman, and then rule the newly-healed kingdom together, but insted she dies, and then the guy has to destroy everything to bring her back! all the effort and all the trouble through the entire game for nothing!

I think the game looks pretty nice. and it doesn't make low resource computers lag. it plays fast and lag free. look at GTA4. the texture for the player and people is not great at all, the game takes 3 times more space and ram and the graphics of the environment are in no way comparable to those on PoP4. just my point of view.

well they wanted to bring prince of persia back to it's fairly tale roots. part 1 was often compared to a disney movie. (the ps2 part 1) part 2 was all heavy metal music and bad ass , with hot chicks and such. part 3 (two thrones) was a healthy mix of the two. the new version was trying to return to that fairy tale disney feel . except with an darker ending.(most disney movies have a bit of darkness but not in the endings.)

No! They ran from him to an underground palace where they fought again and met new enemies. At the end, the prince killed Ahriman but Elika -ungratefully, left him on his own (after all what he did for her).

You do know the story is not over even in the epilogue right? Ahriman is still out and Elika went out to find her people.

The epilogue course suggested that either the prince or Elika was divine or else why would Ahriman bother chasing them (especially the prince) and offered him (glory) if he joined him.

During the epilogue Elika was mad (until the end) at the prince for setting Ahriman free. Anyway, I don't really care who left who and who did what.

Besides, Ubisoft is now developing a new PoP game that falls between Sands of Time and Warrior Within. I'm afraid they'll ruin the story.

I see. I know the Prince hinted at having a way to finish Ahriman once and for all. My guess was actually the sands of time, so Ubisoft could estabilish a link with the original trilogy. And going between SoT and WW is the best idea possible, so they can explain the change in personality from the Prince in detail.

WHAT? The game ended already in the Epilogue. Elika ran from the prince, then they met new enemies, and finally they killed Ahriman. As the game ended, Elika left the prince stuck in the palace.

It's Ahriman, and those seals/trees weren't there in the beginning of the game, yet he couldn't escape the temple. When I said Elika should just go back to Persia with the Prince, that was my suggestion rather than making a sequel to save an uninhabited land.

She got powers from Ormazd to stop Ahriman forver, not to seal him back.

So by releasing Ahriman and resurrecting Elika, there is chance to stop Ahriman forever with the powers of Ormazd which Elika carries.

Yep the game was very easy to beat, again, i think they just shouldn't make a sequel. Ubisoft thinks that they will do a new trilogy which will be as popular and great as the old one... well i personally don't think so, because we are just bored of that, the first games were interesting because they were new but now it seems more and more repetitive but with new graphics, new moves and a new ally.

Well i think the ending is great and here's why: you keep all the game trying to prevent Ahriman's escape, but in the end when the prince gets to understand that it's only possible if Elika dies he decides to do anything to keep her alive because he's in love with her. Anyone would do that for his/her love. Also, i don't think she's mad at him because she said nothing and was "ok" with him taking her to the desert. I don't care if there will be a sequel i'm just fine with this ending!
