  • He should be our president right now.

  • yeah he should have been president a long time ago when he was runnin against George HW Bush in 1988. but he wasn't even taken seriously because the media was hacked. thanks to google and youtube we're seeing more and more of what is happening to US. if Ron ran for president in 2012 he will surely win because we now know what kind of person Ron Paul and what he is going up against.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • bah... just mind ur own bussiness... trade and talk... there isnt some super evil force out to get you... you are the lords of your own demise...

  • Please Change American foreign policy!!

Friday's dispute came as a North Korean newspaper said that the country was bolstering its "war deterrent", accusing the US of planning a nuclear war.

"Our republic will continue to harden its war deterrent further in response to the US stepping up its nuclear war moves," it said.

Vote Ron Paul - The world needs him!!

  • Easiest way to make someone look like a dodger is to put him on the spot with dumb, overly specific questions of foresight. Wolf Blitzer, you're about as competent a journalist as a lobotomized sardine. Get lost.

  • RON PAUL IS THE ONLY HOPE!!

  • call this guy please

Ferugs Cullin, chairman of the NH GOP, cell phone number is 1-603-520-5450, please call him and ask him why Ron Paul is not included in their debates ....

  • Classic Ron Paul! Blitzer is trying like mad to nail him on anything but RP has intelligent answers to every question and can't be cornered because he is, amazingly enough, truly honest. We can put another BS politician in the White House or we can elect this tried and true patriot.

  • TELL these phoneys RON PAUL! We are behind you, at least the ones with an individual brain left!

  • On December 31st, please help Dr. Paul move past the 20 million dollar mark for the 4th quarter.

    w w w(.)donate2008(.)org

  • STOP fuking saying that Pakistan will be taken by taliban. That is the stupidest thing that i keep hearing on TV. Pakistan is FAR FAR from being taken by Taliban. People here Hate taliban. The US media is so stupid sometimes. Pakistan is a democratic Country and there is absolutly 0 chance of taliban coming into power here absolutly 0

  • Paul's Campaign headquarters confirmed FOX IS PLANNING TO EXCLUDE RON PAUL from the debate on Jan 6th JUST BEFORE THE NH PRIMARY.

They're doing this even though Ron Paul has more signs around NH than other candidates and has raised more money this quarter than other candidates.

Please call Fox at 1-888-369-4762 and ADVISE THEM YOU'LL NEVER WATCH THEIR NETWORK AGAIN IF THEY PULL THESE STUPID BS.

They want to choose the Presidental candidate rather than the public.

    THIS SUCKS BIG TIME.

  • I will demand my cable company cancel that channel

  • It is about sometime patriots fight for our change. The revolution is real and amazing!!!

  • All Americans should watch America: Freedom to Fascism! Watch it FREE here in the internet! Just Google America: Freedom to Fascism and click on the +WATCH VIDEO link that has 111 mins next to it. All Americans should watch this Movie! Ron Paul is actually in the movie! He is the ONLY congressman that would answer questions regarding the IRS and Federal Reserve!

  • With only 3 days left Ron Paul has $18,845,000 in contributions for the quarter.

It'd be great if he goes over $19 Million and super FANTASTIC if the media have to report over $20 Million.

    I know a mini-bomb is planned for Dec 31st.

    But that's a Monday.

And if you will be busy that day please contribute now Dec 29th or 30th.

    Help us make history!

    SPREAD THE WORD!

  • "Do you want to be a little more percise??????????????"

about a prediction? Wolf is a Moron.

  • Simply Brilliant! Bravo Dr. Paul, Bravo.

  • This is the most sane approach I have ever heard. I will be casting my vote for him. I changed from Dem To repub temporarly for him.

  • I have a gun to your fucking head... I am PEACEFULL! do what I DO! DO IT NOW!!!!

BECAUSE WE ARE AMERICAN'S... WE KNOW BEST!

Well I can tell you that I have never been more sad to be an American then I am now... Without my country I don't have anything...

  • You heard him say he will not quit if he does not come in first or second here. Keep campaigning/donating! Freedom was not won over a cup of British tea. It was a tea revolt. Let's make it happen!

  • Ya I heard her interview too when she talked about Bin Laden's murder. How is it we dont have that yet, and only that he is in Pakistan.

  • You know, I was in my home town, driving down a run down area, and I said to myself, holy moly, it looks as bad as Baghdad here, with one difference, Baghdad has been bombed!!!!

We need to prop America back up, clean the run down areas, and fix roads and bridges!!

  • I love the fact that they are finally asking "IF YOU WERE PRESIDENT". The Founding Fathers wanted this country to be a "beacon of liberty" projecting democracy around the world by example, not force. We lost that ideology a long time ago and we need to bring it back.

  • When we align ourselves with foreign governments we instantly make enemies with their enemies, and simultaneously we empower their enemies with propaganda. Puppet regimes are rightfully hated, and we bare the brunt of such ill will.

    Isn't this just common sense?

  • Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be common sense. People think reactively instead of thinking of repercussions. When 9/11 came, should we have been occupied by China so they could "protect" us? WTF? Why is it so hard for people to get that? This country, this planet, NEEDS Ron Paul desperately.

  • Good point about China and 911.

Bethlezia , it seems common sense is getting rarer and rarer these days :( (atleast with the neocons and neodems)

  • Our responsibility should be, as it is for each and every individual, to ourselves first. If we are in dire straits, as our military is now - stretched too thin - we are in no condition to help anybody that really deserves or asks for our help. But our first priority has to be here at home and we don't even have the manpower to inspect more than 1% of the daily cargo traffic coming in to our country.

  • Ron Paul = J F K , Great Man!...but unfortunately he does'nt stand a chance, the voting system is RIGGED!!!

  • well, I hope you're referring to the _hope_ that JFK embodied. His politics were outright "progressive"...

  • I can say that in Florida, we WILL be watching the polling locations carefully.

  • Not so much rigged but the media bias in making it a popularity contest hurts him.

It's all about the big names the media supports as opposed to the candidates actual stances on foreign or domestic policy

  • Is this the first RP/Blitzer interview where Wolf didn't ask RP about a third party run? LOL

Great job Ron! You're looking well rested!

  • Great interview, great responses.

    RP2008.

  • The answer's so simple yet everyone makes it sound like it's that much more complicated!

    He's so blindingly correct!

    I <3 RP:)

  • What wise words! Stay the hell out of other countries' affairs, quit bribing them with tax payer money, aka foreign aid, and concentrate the efforts and money here at home. I guess it all makes too much sense to be considered a "main stream" ideology.

  • I think concern for a fundamentalist resurgence in Pakistan is valid, and the USA will probably want to avoid that and ensure a transition to democracy. And then get out. However I don't see the taliban surviving there, they love their cricket too much ;)

  • Karl, I have to disagree. If the people of Pakistan truly want democracy, they will have it on their own terms. The US has become the meddling parents that end up ruining lives.

  • I agree in principal, but I doubt even R.Paul would simply just pull out without offering assistance for a period - the threat of pulling out and putting a deadline on stopping all money going to them, I think mushareff would do what is required quick smart. Seeing as though the USA has created this monster, they now need to help the transition.

  • Meddling parents always create the monster. That's why it is time to cut the cord and be done with it. The rest of the world can get along without our charity. Why not put all of that money into our own problems? Once they have their government stabilized, we'll do business with them again. Not through charity but through trade.

  • If China were to occupy the USA and try to impose communism on us, we'd be beyond royally ticked. Why do people fail to think of how we would react if it were done to us?

  • people fail to do so because of ignorance .

  • Amen - Ron is so right on....stop wasting our children's future on other countries ....as an American, my fellow American's come first!!!!

  • wolf has all his pre-memorized questions down,...its like he is'nt bright enough to take in what Ron is saying, and think off the top of his head

  • Amen! Just as Reagan did with the USSR, contain and stay out of it. Then succeed diplomatically. Lead by example, not by force. But let them know, if they attack us we will destroy them. Other than that, stay out of their business.

  • You have to be joking, Reagan invaded Panama and Grenada, he bombed Lebanon, and Libya in the Middle East, sold arms to Iran to fund the Contra civil war in Nicaragua, which had been specifically outlawed by an act of Congress and more! Reagan was a fucking bastard and damaged America, not to mention he put us in a record deficient (Only to be surpassed by this moron of a President in Office now.) Fuck Reagan.

  • I was refering just to Reagan's action with USSR and Lebanon. The USSR was defeated with out boots on the ground in the former Soviet Union. In Lebanon, after the 200 Marines were killed, he pulled out and said we would not be further drawn in to their Civil war. Bomb threatening target, maybe. Put our sons and daughter's in harms way to fight someone elses Civil War, Hell No!

  • I agree with you there, not sending our children to fight other wars, amen. But the USSR's collapse would have happened with or without Reagan. Gorbachev opened up it up with reforms and exposed it's economic collapse from the inside out. Look at North Korea, they're still ticking along, if the USSR fired upon East Germans in '89 and remained stubborn, we'd still have the Cold War, nothing our Army could have done.

  • Ron Paul has been right about Pakistan all along, warning that our intervention there would lead to chaos.

He's the only candidate pointing out the obvious -- that you can't solve the problems caused by interventionism with more interventionism, just like you can't solve the problems caused by monetary inflation with more monetary inflation.

  • Thank you Ron Paul!

I'm working every single day to live up to my part for you for all those YEARS you did your part for me and I didn't even know it.

  • Notice that Wolf didn't even ask the "third party" question.

  • Yes! Finally maybe they will stop asking that.

  • Finally! A candidate that you could agree with 100%

    RPFTW!

  • Wolf Blitzkrieg

  • RP blows Blitzer's mind again!

  • well said Ron.

  • The guy's gonna Win !

  • Awesome. Go Ron Paul!

  • Humanitarian aid? At the cost of what lives? You want to put peacekeepers in the middle of a Civil War in the middle east like the Canada is doing? And what are you going to say to the mothers of the dead soldiers? Is it worth it simply because it sounds good? Will this stop the civil war or is this just 'PC'?

  • Ron Paul says nothing like that we should "ignore the world"! His idea is to talk to people instead of either sending them billions in aid or trying to overthrow their government through covert CIA operations or outright war. Sure genocide and the like are horrible, but the President alone has no justification for becoming involved without a declaration of war from the Congress.

  • Why would he say anything about our consumer policies when they're interviewing him on the situation on Pakistan? It's not the topic of discussion!!!

  • Oldhacks, you said in another post that we were losing an economic war. Why do you think that is happening? How do we keep spending shitloads of money "saving the world" and still have a strong economy. You can't have it both ways. It just doesn't balance out.

  • I ask you, since obviously we are not "saving the world" with our weapons why then I ask is our military so active in destabilizing countries? besides the obvious war profiteerism.

  • I'll tell you why. Because of Americans lack of wise consumer etiquette. Americans shop at wal mart. that breeds chinese imports. Americans eat fast food. that breeds factory farms. Americans use gasoline and oil, that breeds oil wars. Its our fault. Our government is our dealer keeping us from owning up to our insane ideology of selfishness.

  • LOL, so to remedy this problem we should elect a President who wants to slash taxes so the rich can now afford to indulge themselves even more.

  • We the people have been lax at holding our representatives accountable. They use gov't to plunder our nation through business regulation which encourages monopolization and slave labored products made overseas to come here. They plunder other nations for their resources and maintaining bases for the empire. Remove the restrictions and the free market can solve all these problems.

  • There are great benefits in having Somalia and Pakistan being more stable. However, being involved in the UN will do nothing to stabilize or unify. Its been around for over 50 years and all it has done is take MY money and call for unnecessary wars. Only mutual benefit from mutual trade will rectify this. And if you disagree with me, I suggest you re-read your Econ 101 book from college.

  • im all for fair trade. and the UN could use some work. But us having the ability to do something in darfur and just turning a blind eye is EXACTLY how Americans felt when the jews were being slaughtered. I know John McCain said that and i hate him but its actually true. All that evil needs to prevail is for good people to do nothing.

  • Humanitarian Charity is not an essential function of government. Taxpayers, and Americans have no responsibility to Darfur. You can spend your OWN money on whatever cause you wish. Karl Marx said,"To each according to his need, from each his ability" The point is that there are Darfurs everywhere. They represent need. However the fundamental flaw with his statement is that it doesnt account for unlimited needs, scare resources, and scarce ability.

  • You really need to read into foreign affairs. All our interventions have backfired on us.

  • When have any of our invasions (peacekeeping missions) resulted in stabilizing a region long term?

  • Paul is saying that countries have to be responsible for themselves just as individuals do -- or more precisely that the individuals in countries have to be responsible for their own countries . Furthermore , you as an individual have the freedom to give humanitarian aid to whomever in the world you want .

  • You are half right, except Ron Paul isn't saying FTW, he is advocating that we use our influence by righting our own ship and making countries and people look up to us again. We can't afford wars or humanitarian aid with tax payer money, we need to be neutral, talk diplomatically with people and let other countries sort their own affairs out.

  • we are the richest country on this planet, if we can not afford charity then who can?

  • I beg to differ with out 9 trillion dollar debt. If I'm $200,000 down on my credit cards with my $60K a year salary it doesn't mean I'm the richest guy and should be able to give more.

  • Actually, we're right up there amongst having the most debt. We borrow billions from China daily.

  • I expect you guys to be able to debate and not act like little kids. I expect too much. obviously you see that I'm defecting so you choose the guy thats with you and all gang up with your thumbs and spam signs. yet when I ask you to enact the national initiative you say "majority rule is tyranny" yea only when you're Not the majority right?

  • The charity of discussion was used to make nuclear weapons. This is not a charity I would personally invest in. I donate locally because that's where I see the real affects of that charity. I donate globally for good causes, but not for armament. AIDS research - good cause. Funding weapons - bad cause.

  • I don't know what you are going by to call the U.S. the richest country on the planet but the fact is the U.S. is trillions of dollars in debt and it's growing by the billions per day. Yes there are many rich people in the U.S. and those people should give to charity but our federal government operating with taxpayer money indeed cannot afford it.

  • Are you a parent? That's what the US has been to the rest of the world. As stated below, I think we are the meddling kind with current foreign policy. We need to be the better example. Sometimes, you need to focus on your own affairs. This is one of those times. If you hadn't noticed, we have a pretty screwy government here. Let's get back to that and worry about the rest of the world later. Trading with other countries is how we and they will prosper.

  • we've been the worlds parent? well if thats true then why is the world so fucked up? I mean if its us that are teaching them and raising them to be democratic then how come everyones killing each other? We've killed how many elected leaders in other countries through CIA and military junctures and impoverished how many nations with our high interest Loans we call human aid? the worlds parent. thats funny.

  • more like we've been the worlds gun dealer.

  • You punctuate my point that our foreign policy is that of meddling. Thanks. :)

  • Yes, the world is fucked up because of our meddling parenthood. It needs to stop now.

  • not because of our meddling. because of our government sponsored assassinations. If we meddled in the name of actually creating peace instead of just covert operations to steal other countries resources then we would be beloved. but that doesn't always work cuz look at the korean war. thats why you need the UN to get countries to unify in opposition of atrocities. power in numbers. the UN needs work but its not something to be completely mocked just because of its poor record.
