My daught treated me to an evening at National Geographic to see Carol Beckwith (an old friend from Back in the Day) and Angela Fisher's new book on the Dinka Cattle herdsmen of Southern Sudan.
Very interresting film, Compare the dance of the Dinka girls at 3;43 with the way the Misseryya girls dance, it is actually very similair which does suggest that the Misseryya are very strongly of mixed Arab-Dinka origin.
