um. i have a question. i have been trying to find all the cigarette packs in the game. i used walkthroughs online and crap like that, and just discovered that i have 61 packs. but the game says i didnt get the achievement and i have more than what the walkthrough i read had shown. im terribly confused so whoever can help me out i appreciate it.

I'm well aware of Audioswap (had to use it a lot due to copyright infringements) and last time I checked (now), it's permanent. You'll never guess what song it suggested with the "I'm feeling lucky" button? Bodies by Drowning Pool... no kidding. So perhaps Youtube and the copyright "free" status of the song itself are to blame for making it so "overused".

@Evan9072. You want me to list what kind of components (CPU, GPU, RAM etc.) my PC has or what? Those, in conjunction with the graphics settings of the game, are what mostly determine how fast the game will run. Unless by "fast" you mean the part at 0:11-0:19? That was done by movie magic... editing a video clip recorded at normal speed to play much much faster.

Only 2 people (you included) so far have asked for a deleted scenes version, so if AODA doesn't have it's own animation showroom then I doubt I'll make a new anition showroom vid.

hi i downloaded fraps. now theres a icon like 99 fraps on my desktop and it says f10 for screen shot and f9 for video and stuff like that but how does it work? how do you get it recording?

Just open Fraps and start any game. Then press F9 to start and stop recording. If there is a yellow number in 1 of the corners of the screen, Fraps works on that game. The number will turn red when recording and flash when you take a screenshot (F10).F12 will rotate the number through each corner and a state where it is not diplayed at all (but recording and screenshots still work).Video and/or picture files should appear in the specified folders. Check out the support section of the Fraps site.

Yes it is. Dark Athena is the Expansion pack, becuse they had issues with finding a publisher. So they remade Butcher Bay, packed it with an expansion pack, and sold it at $60 under the name "Assault on Dark Athena" A sequel is already in the works.

Ok, like I've got the PC version and I can do most of the moves, but like when they don't have a weapon (Like just their fists) and I try and counter with my fists or shiv I usually end up stabbing them or punching them. And this happens for a few times and then eventually I do a cool counter move. Is this because I have to weaken them first? Or is this coz my timing is just crappy? If it is could someone tell me when you press the attack button?

Nah, it's what the Button you push is called. When you play in the animation show room, there is a dark room with a flickering light and when you aim at the button, it says 'Don't push me'. If you do then there is a surprise :].

If you only have the Xbox version, then 59 is all you're gonna get. The PC version has 62 packs because there are 2 new levels and some new unlockable extras.

You ceratainly don't. I can't tell you where a cigarette pack is located, unless you tell me which one you need to find! Which number are you looking for? 1, 2, 3, or perhaps 34... or maybe 51? There's 62 of them.

You could have said that ages ago. Well, they're in the Security Research 1 and 2 areas (Checkpoints 24 and 25).

#60 is after Checkpoint 24. It's on a desk with lots of monitoring screens in a small room labeled "computer room" (sign on top of door) which is behind a room labeled "briefing room" (big sign on the wall). You need to exit the riot guard to get in.

#61 is after checkpoint 25. When you go from sector E-12 to E-13 (signs above the doors) there's a window to your right. Through that and over the boxes straight ahead is a similar window and the pack lying under it.

#62 is behind the boxes in the room where you battle the flamingo robots.

But this in ONLY for the PC version. The Xbox version doesn't have these checkpoints and cigarette packs. That's why they named it Developer's Cut, because there are new levels and extras.

The RIOT Guard (the one that fires 2 mahcine guns or something) is only in the PC version, but the Large Heavy Guard (the one that fires a minigun and missiles) should be on the xbox too.

Watch my video named "The Chronicles of Riddick: The Dark... My Favorite" and you'll see that they don't always work for me either. It's all about timing. Just press primary or secondary attack at the right time: When the enemy starts to swing at you to do a counter kill. Stealth kills are much easier.

Yeah, it's the same. Just hit the primary attack when the enemy is about to hit you. It's quite tricky though. And you can't do a counter kill if you are blocking at the same time.

Btw I just reinstalled the game and noticed two things I had forgotten:1) You have to press the use key (default=E) to do some of the stealth and counter kills.2) Secondary attack is block, so that doesn't kill anyone :D!
