I think they are actually angry with her because she goes to high school and has friends and trains less and is still the champion and they've had to give them all up and still can't beat her.

@wwwwwyjjg actually there are other athletes besides shawn who go to high school and even the ones who dont still have plenty of friends and what do you mean by they cant beat her if nastia won the olympic aa gold? if you say she has so many friends why don't any of the other athletes like her...

@afgymnast96 woah really? can you link me a post to an interview where she said that? @zrcsoccer5 i think what wwwwwyjjg meant was that she has friends in high school and can spend only 4-5 hrs in the gym and still be the best. friends aren't only the people she trains with.....it's understandable if her teammates resent her a little bit b/c she doesn't train as much. but until i see an interview where shawn said that; then i'll believe it's true.

@leeny11 her coach prefers it to help her focus I think. Gabby and Shawn do not talk much during meets until after they have finished performing.
