as part of my workout routine for live shows I jumprope and try to sing my whole setlist....all I can say is, it's fucking hard to stay on key when you are out of breath....not saying it's impossible to sing on key and dance/move/headbang/whatever... but it's fucking hard.

I think the audio is real but it's from a rehearsal or something because you can hear her saying "Make it no tighter than that" during the first performance and that's not a line from the song. You can also hear her say "Put my dress on" or something at 2:08 and that's not from that song, either. So she was probably doing final rehearsals, giving her all and couldn't hear her voice over the playback. Next time you go to a concert, record yourself singing along, then listen in horror lol.

Look in the youtube account of "TheOneBeatleManiac" and listen to the title "A Day In The Life (Track 1- Vocal, Piano Track). It's the 4:29 version here in youtube.
Then listen to the finished song with all the extra parts.
You'll understand why Britney's voice sounds so terrible in this video.
If you need a little bit of clarity of the argument listed below listen to some of the beatles songs FINISHED versions and then listen to the outtakes from the same songs.
You'll hear that some songs had to be recorded 14 times between the first take and the finished product.
And in studio recordings, since the lead vocalist (or all vocalists) are in a quiet room all by themselves, they can stand farther away from the microphones and sing louder if they have too. But since they're standing farther away from the microphones than they do during live performances, and they have down time between recording the vocals for any one song and the next one, some of the sounds that you hear during live performances can be removed during studio sessions.
There are a few differences between a studio recording and a live recording (even such as this one).
First off, in a studio, the instruments and voices are laid down at different times, so imperfections in peoples voices can only be heard in studio recordings if you listen to an isolated voice track all by itself.
Second, in studios, the singer is usually sitting or standing still with a spit screen in front of the microphone so you don't hear some of the sounds that you hear while live.
I'm still surprised people think Britney has any vocal talent at all. Britney was created by record labels, they mix the SHIT out of her voice in the studio with every effect you can imagine, write catchy pop songs for her, and package it up for all the morons to buy.

From that mic the recorded track could go nowhere (so she would be lip syncing to a pre-recorded good track), or it could go through filters that make it sound good. Either way, this is no fake. It's absolutely true. It's been done for a lot of artists, and it's actually pretty easy to get this track. Check out Enrique Iglesias' too. Or Lady Gaga's (who, by the way, was dancing too and sounds almost perfect on the mic track).

2- Audio quality of voice-over is the SAME for all of the video clips.
3-Lip syncing is completely off in many places.
4. No variation in volume in any of the clips.
5. There are parts where the voice-over is CLEARLY a campy impression of Britney's singing style or lack thereof.

I believe the proof is in britneys actions, i.e. why hasn't she ever gone out on a real impromptu performance on late night, SNL, whathaveyou and PROVE that she can sing and dance? For all the pomp and circumstance, all the high-production, all the hype and b.s., the answer is simple: shes not a 'good' singer. She may have a decent voice but she can't sing well and I don't mean in the bob Dylan way either, that's a different beast altogether. Think about it though, be honest with yourselves.

I think the audio is real but it's from a rehearsal or something because you can hear her saying "Make it no tighter than that" during the first performance and that's not a line from the song. You can also hear her say "Put my dress on" or something at 2:08 and that's not from that song, either. So she was probably doing final rehearsals, giving her all and couldn't hear her voice over the playback. Next time you go to a concert, record yourself singing along, then listen in horror lol.

If you need a little bit of clarity of the argument listed below listen to some of the beatles songs FINISHED versions and then listen to the outtakes from the same songs.
You'll hear that some songs had to be recorded 14 times between the first take and the finished product.

And in studio recordings, since the lead vocalist (or all vocalists) are in a quiet room all by themselves, they can stand farther away from the microphones and sing louder if they have too. But since they're standing farther away from the microphones than they do during live performances, and they have down time between recording the vocals for any one song and the next one, some of the sounds that you hear during live performances can be removed during studio sessions.

There are a few differences between a studio recording and a live recording (even such as this one).
First off, in a studio, the instruments and voices are laid down at different times, so imperfections in peoples voices can only be heard in studio recordings if you listen to an isolated voice track all by itself.
Second, in studios, the singer is usually sitting or standing still with a spit screen in front of the microphone so you don't hear some of the sounds that you hear while live.

From that mic the recorded track could go nowhere (so she would be lip syncing to a pre-recorded good track), or it could go through filters that make it sound good. Either way, this is no fake. It's absolutely true. It's been done for a lot of artists, and it's actually pretty easy to get this track. Check out Enrique Iglesias' too. Or Lady Gaga's (who, by the way, was dancing too and sounds almost perfect on the mic track).

I have been to 2 Britney Spears Tickets in my lifetime and she can sing. You just took the parts where she clearly is tired or fatigued some at her show or tired during a dance routine. But Britney can sing dammit, listen to her acapellas and demos online that Jive has let her put out or some of her fans, trust ME SHE CAN SING. I HAVE SEEN HER SING LIVE.
