  • Just to help out, the proper word for pomegranate seeds is "arils." And a TJ just opened last night here in SWFL...it was mobbed. I knew from visiting my son in San Francisco that I liked their sardines and hummus, speaking of healthy, though I usually make my own hummus. Now I'll be able to explore the store a bit better.

  • Just put the egg white salad on my TJ shopping list. I had no idea they had that item. It sounds yummy!

  • I love snapea crisps! everyone thinks I'm so weird for eating them all the time, especially straight out of the bag. love your videos. :))

  • You are super funny and make it interesting to watch health videos. Though now i'm annoyed we don't have a Trader Joes in the UK. Damn us.

  • cinnamon is actually healthy for you so those almonds wouldn't be that bad!;)

  • p.s- I'm gluten free.

  • I'm commenting on alll of your videos. hahha you're so funny! You inspire me to put up my own videos =]

  • I love peas I want to try sugarsnap peas. I'm also a big fan of pomegranate juice all the way. And they sound like Cheetos when you crunch a snap pea crisp. Okay Amy I'm gonna go and buy some. Thumbs up.

  • hey! i love your videos! question, did you get a nutrition degree at university?! :)

  • @gemstones44 Thank you so much! I've been completely self taught. Learned a lot from my mom who's very knowledgeable on health and from self studies.

  • Also, what does it mean to be gluten free?

  • @jenniferxxbeauty Gluten free means that all foods you eat do not contain gluten. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye and other grains. It is difficult for some people to digest gluten, so many people with gluten sensitivity turn to grains like rice and corn which do not contain it. I'll have more info on the subject in upcoming videos.

  • You always inspire me to eat healthier. I love it. All the foods and drinks and everything you show look SO good. I would buy organic more often, at Trader Joe's, or Whole Foods, but not only are there not many in my area or they are far, but organic is usually more expensive, right?

  • @jenniferxxbeauty Thank you! I'm so happy I can be your inspiration. Organic does tend to be more expensive, but if you can shop for produce at farmers markets, it is much cheaper that what you would find in Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. I'll be filming a farmers market video soon with more info to help!

  • Get the steamed lentils. They taste great alone, or you can mix them in sauces. they've got lots of protein and they're just all around great.

    Love,

    your fourth cousin once removed

    lol

  • I hate gorgonzola too. Bleeecchhh!!!!

  • @loganidol but seriously, if you have access to a Trader Joe's, try these crackers. I promise they're amazing even if you hate gorgonzola.

  • @SandCastleinc I will definitely try them someday! There is a Trader Joe's in my town.

  • My folks and I love garlic bread! We have it with a variety of dinners.

  • my mom doesn't eat gluten. so, I'll tell her about the corn pasta. she usually uses rice pasta, but the corn pasta sounds better

  • @LaconicZoie Some rice pasta is good, but I think this corn one has a flavor closer to wheat pasta.

  • i got it! i was wondering who you reminded me of! you look and sorta sound like bridgit mendler from the disney channel! :D ~irrelevant comment~

  • @amazinggirl123 I know Whole Foods, Ralph's and Costco have them for sure.

  • where to get snapea crisps besides trader joes?!?!?!

  • @amazinggirl123 whole foods

  • you're seriously beautiful and you're videos are amazing! I'm such a foodie :) and i mostly enjoy staying healthy and fit!

  • Love their Salsa Authentica, unsulphured & unsweetened mangos slices, and sunflowerseed butter:)

  • @TheMattOWNage Exactly. They have the essence of Gorgonzola, but not that moldy aftertaste. They're TO DIE FOR!

  • So you mean like they dont have the same kinda of kick you get from a mouldy type cheese

  • @Staycie Awesome! Thank you for the tip. I will try that next time.

  • Here's how I get the seeds out of pomegranates: Fill a large bowl with warm water, cut the top off of the pomegranate, and peel it under the water! Seeds sink while the other stuff floats. SOoo easy!

  • @budgetbeautiful Thank you SO MUCH! Seriously I could spend all day finding new treats to share with you all. I enjoy it so much.

  • @AlittlePerfection Thank you for MAKING MY DAY!

  • Just recently discovered your videos!! Love them! I LOVE Trader Joes too, so thanks for this video!!! :)
