i remember going in that cave. i led a volunteer squad of 100 highly trained pikmin. we went in, we kicked ass, we were doing good. but then it came out of nowhere, guns blazing, half my squad dead! it shoulda been me that died that day! IT SHOULDA BEEN ME!!!!

you CAN kill the mites i tried it before. you have to throw pikmin once on top of the mites to kill them instantly.
