  • Do you have any clear audio of the intercom? the 3 beeps? "Ding dang dong" type sound when the captain speaks? It would be greatly appreciated!

  • This alarm does not belong to this ship. I never understood why they went back to using just the PA tone and the ships horn, when on the Freedom Class and Voyager Class, they used a variety of buzzers, bells, whistles, and air horns.

It's still loud, but, nothing like it used to be.

    Awesome Video!

  • You should be allowed to film if you're not. You could say that you're practicing for the real thing when the ship sinks!

  • @KarloSonza DCL?

  • How did you know you couldn't film during the muster drill? Do all cruiselines prohibit filming during muster drills?

  • @Spaceshotx7 I'm not sure if all cruise lines prohibit it but I assumed they wouldn't want you to be filming during a muster drill. If nothing other than to focus on the crew and directions in the event there is really an emergency?!?!

  • It'd be a HUGE DISASTER if this ship sank!… It's so sad to even think about it. And I'm a DCL fan! : )

  • Tha vid makes me dizzy!! But I love tha vid!!! Amazin..do u got any more vids from tha oasis??

  • Dont all Muster Alarms sound the same due to regulations??

  • Its an international standard known as "General Alarm"

  • This alarm doesn't sound like it belongs on that ship. Too weak in my opinion.

  • It was actually pretty loud.- Louder than in the video.

  • @sum1diff4ent I'm sure but I mean like, she doesn't have the airhorns like Freedom class ships. Also, Freedom class ships alarms sound different inside.

  • If you listen close, you can hear fain horn blasts. I bet you can hear the horns from outside.

  • I don't like how they don't make you put your lifejacket on. Were there even any lifejackets in the cabins?? Well the alarm was ok. I was hoping more since Freedom class has crazy alarms. But the vid was good. Thanks. =]

  • @WamsWarrior no lifejackets in the cabins.

You receive them by the rescue vessels.

It is much safer and easier because passengers don't have to worry about running back to their cabins to retrieve their jackets.

Also, they don't need to carry them around on the ship.

  • @sum1diff4ent Ehhhh... I still like the lifejackets in the cabin. It doesn't matter to me anyways because if something is wrong, I'm going back to my cabin to get some of my stuff anyways.

  • I concur, people were always tripping on the straps and fumbling with their vests on the way to the muster station. keeping them there makes a lot of sence. Plus it frees up more room for you stuff in the cabin!!

  • @sum1diff4ent you dont have to put your lifejacket on anymore just go to your munster stations, but they still blow the horns

  • This is PERFECT and exactly what I've been waiting for. Thank you!

  • @shipcafe Glad you enjoyed it.

  • im dizzy

  • You were warned in the description! =D

  • sounds like that the Oasis does not have the air horns like the freedom class ships have. only the ships horn and pa tone

  • @sergeant655 Mayebe the airhorns just weren't sounded in that drill.

  • Yeah, sorry about that-Apparently I am not supposed to be filming while doing an emergency drill (who knew!) so I had to act like I wasn't filming.

  • UGH SO HARD TO WATCH WITH THE TILT!!! loaf more videos!
