  • what does the suffering in the world teach us about god.

  • Honestly, someone who doesn't believe in God b/c of evolution doesn't know anything about the theory of evolution. People will look for any reason not to accept Christ. Stick with the Bible, Using your lack of understanding about evolution will only damage the cause to save souls. Hmmm... which has the power to break the bondage of sin.... one of man's current scientific viewpoints... dont think so. Good luck

  • What about Neanderthals?

Also all of this still doesn't do much for the Creation vs Evolution concepts, since all this 'evidence' can easily be used for both. You might want to focus on things that support creation and doesn't support the Evolution.

  • Perhaps what is happening is that all this 'evolution' stuff really isn't supporting evolution but is supporting creation!! ;-)

  • Or maybe it all is actually supporting evolution. :D

  • You're funny!! ;-)

  • Yea, and you're scary.

How can you still be stuck in the dark ages?

  • That would be the same question that I would have for you...how could you still be in the Dark Ages. Come into the Light!! lol

  • Yea, except the "Light" is Figurative.

If you mean FAITH, then you should say that instead. Still, I already have faith in God and Jesus so that doesn't really apply.

Your simple banter of "Come into the Light!!" however IS the type of response given in the Dark Ages. Are you learned into the Biological sciences? Most likely not. If so, you would probably come to find that evolutionary theory is accepted for a very logical reason and that it is one of the most important theories of 20th cent.

  • Christ is the 'Light' of the world.

If you have faith in God and Jesus then you must believe the Bible and what it says. It says that God made all of the creatures and plants to reproduce after their own kind. It doesn't say that God created an earth with nothing on it and waited for chemical processes to take place. He put that in motion himself.

If you really studied creation as apposed to evolution you would see an awesome Designer was at work to create such amazing life.

  • Ah, see there you are. Confusing Evolution with Abiogenesis. Learn the difference.

Since Evolution says that small changes compound over time, there's no reason to believe that each organism wouldn't reproduce slightly DIFFERENTLY, always creating after it's own kind. If you had any serious education, you would see a possible method used BY the Creator. One that can be shown through scientific studies, not just stated at a pulpit.

  • No, I'm confusing the two. Even when there are slight changes in a creature it is still the same creature. It doesn't turn into something else. It does not gain new information. The information is already there in the genes.

I see that you put 'possible' method used by the Creator. However, it isn't a 'possible' method, it isn't the method at all. If you don't agree with the Scripture that God created everything fully formed and to reproduce after their own kind; then you are sadly deceived.

  • And what makes you so sure that I AM deceived? You would have to claim either unflinching faith in something without proof, or omnipotence to say without possible deviance that Scripture is EXACTLY what God wrote.

While your at your confession there, define "Kind" please; because so far nobody has been able to do it. You fail to critically analyze and look at information objectively, therefore you have allowed yourself to be deceived. Evolution has been proven and only the most stubborn refuseIt

  • I'm sure you are confused because I know the truth!! ;-) Scripture is just like God said.

'Kind' is usually a broader category than our modern term 'species'. For example the gray wolf, the red wolf, the coyote, the dingo all belong to the same Biblical 'kind'. They rarely interbreed in the wild, however, in captivity they can breed and produce fertile offspring.

Evolution has never been 'proven'. Tell me what has been proven, give me an example.

  • Actually, while Evolutionary THEORY is unprovable... evolution has been documented in scientific papers throughout the world.

Also, it seems like you cannot possibly know the truth. You seem not only so devout that you refuse to look at perfectly logical scientific research, but you seem to denounce it. You cannot POSSIBLY know the truth with such distorting beliefs. If the Scripture was true without interpretation we would expect Science to prove that. Yet that is not the case.

  • You still haven't given me an example of evolution that has been documented.

Oh, I do look at scientific evidence, however, I see how it just keeps proving Scripture. You realize that creation scientists and evolution scientists view the same evidence.

  • How about Nylon-eating bacteria of the Flavobacterium strain?

It's not just a small change in the genome within this organism, but an entire shift in base pairs throughout most of the organism. It is an amazing organism, much different from it's known ancestors.

  • There seems to be a special mechanism that recombines parts of the genes in the plasmids in a way that is non-random. This is shown by the absence of stop codons, which would be generated if the variation were random. So you see, it is still a bacteria, always was, always will be.

  • Ah, so now we go back to "kinds", a phrase that has no definition and no visible limit. It is just put wherever Creationists need a quick fix. It IS still a bacteria, you are correct. But it is only similar to it's predecessor in it's phylum, a very broad taxonomic classification. Most of it's genetic code has been shifted however, so while it still creates a bacterium, it is extremely different. Bacterium to bacterium in this case is like reptile to mammal.

  • No, it's not like a reptile to mammal!! Good grief - it is still bacteria! ;-) Genes may have 'shifted' but it is no different than having green eyes or blue. They are still eyes.

  • You need to be careful with that arguement b/c if you make you definition of kind too broad, this is the problem: Humans, chimps, and the rest of us tailless primates should be considered a kind (after all we are all apes). I think going beyond the bible (even if you think you are right) to prove the existence of God is full of pit falls (with your arguement you just fell in one). Stick to the bible. Science is tenative which is a good thing. God isn't.

  • 'Humans, chimps, and the rest of us tailless primates'....excuse me but humans are not primates!! I can not prove the existence of God to you because he is spirit and you have to know him spiritually - you apparently don't know Him that way. You are correct that God is not tentative -He never changes.

'Kind' is not so broad that it cannot be used to identify between animal 'kind' or plant 'kind'. Read the definition above to help you understand it better. ;-)

  • Sorry, I don't spend much time on utube, but how is it that humans are not classified as primates? What scientific books have u been reading? By saying humans are not primates, you have pretty much lost any credibility. Spiritually we have a soul, and have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with God. Trying to disprove evoluiton will only make you look like a lunatic, and give ammo to nonbelievers to portray christians as lunatics as well.
