Ich hasse und liebe diesen Mod gleichzeitig für das, was er meiner Freizeit und Produktivität antut ^^#

Hi guys! Im a big fan of S2. I always dreamt about an upgrade like S2.5.

Im using a Dell Studio 1535 laptop with Vista. The game runs fine, but when I lunch the exe, after 2-3 seconds of loading a window pops in, which says that sound-convert exe stopped working. So there is no sound in the game, just music :(

What is the problem? Pls help me

We played it last weekend with four guys in a LAN party. We got it up and running in a matter of minutes. Amazing to see this 'old' game running on 1920x1080 on my iMac. Also it's a nice change of pace after playing Starcraft, Warcraft III and Trackmania. Most stuff just works, although some things like some statistics and the mail system (you're under attack, found coal etc) doesn't work yet. We played 5 games or so. The only problem we had was that in one game a player lost connection (bug?).

geile sache erstmal...

nur kann mir einer mal erkklären die das genau funktioniert habs downgeloadet aber es startet i-wie nicht, also wirklich für doofe, es kann auch sein das es i-ein mini fehler ist. muss man z.b. siedler II vorher installiert haben? danke schon mal für euro antworten.

Edit: Habe leider nicht gesehen, dass man dazu das Originalspiel braucht. Schade dann wird es keinen iPhone Build geben können :(

Ja, es ist theoretisch möglich, aber wie ich geschrieben habe braucht man ja das Originalspiel dazu. Damit ist ein iPhonebuild ohne weitere Erlaubnis von Bluebyte unmöglich, schließlich lässt sich nicht einfach der Ordner des Originalspieles aufs iPhone packen, wie man es bei der Computerversion aus Urheberrechtsgründen machen muss. Da aber erst vor ein paar Tagen Siedler IV im Appstore erschienen ist stehen die Chancen nicht schlecht, dass der zweite Teil auch offiziell portiert wird.

Versuchst du das original zu installieren oder wieso fragst du wie man das installiert?

Einfach den DATA und GFX Ordner in den Ordner von RttR 0.6 kopieren, das reicht um 0.6 spielen zu können.

Ja, das Originalspiel funktioniert auch nicht unter Vista. Deine einzige Chance ist Dosbox.

Das ist einer der Gründe warum wir RttR machen ;-)

Nightly's aktualisieren sich immer von selber. Da brauchst du die neue Nightly nicht runterladen - das ist ja der Sinn der Sache ;-)
