We have a mint 62 hawk for sale on K-bid.com for the next 7 days! its going for $5000 as of 1 minute ago, and the bidding is still open if anyone's interested!
@forbearsake Actually I have thought of this. It would have to be done so the soft top had the exact shape of the hard top. The large rear window could not be done in a rag top but I don't think that would be a problem. It would look great with the top down.
It looks like you are in California. I am in Sunland. I have a nice 62; red; I love my car. I have had about 6 or 7 over the years; my first car was a 53 Commander Starliner; the most beautiful American car ever made. If you are in California, once I have my car in a bit better shape, I would love to rally with you.
I am the proud owner of a 62 GT Hawk, Irmine white, and it pleased me so much to watch this clip. We just returned from the INTERNATIONAL Studebaker show in Lancaster, PA. Dont forget to drive your Hawk everywhere on July 4th. People love them, dont know what they are, then you get to tell the story. . . how much fun is that. . .

You might be kidding but I'll bite.
Sorry. It belonged to my Father and now my Brother. He's very attached to it. The Stude now lives on a ranch near Bakersfield California.

Perhaps the most beautiful and perfectly proportioned coupe ever produced in America since 1960!

Nice 'Stude. A friend of mine in Columbus, Ohio had one just like it, except his interior was light green. Thanks for the "ride".

How does your car fair in showings? My uncle's black 62 gt hawk has placed 1st in every meet since he finished the refurb on the car.
