It's great to really hear the drummer in this one. and what powerful words..does sound like it's about a riot? in 1985 there was a riot in the area were Hollis grew up.. the broadwater farm riot. Yes indeed, Hate is full of Rage and Passion. My NO.01 favourite Talk Talk piece. When I first heard this I felt like I was reborn.
Mark Hollis really expresses his voice in this song and the instruments are so passionate.
New Romantic/Early 80's FOREVER.
This song gives me to many chills, so haunting and wonderful. RESPECT
