  • How are you recording this mix?

  • What are you doing with the kaossilator? is it connected to the emx in anyway. if so, are they manipulating each others sound?

  • @atlasNotalice no in this video i just play those two seperately. you can route any sound source through the emx and add all FX and filter to it. cheers!

  • @xbinaryx aight cheers man!! :)

  • Great...thanks to this I now desperately want an Electribe. Didn't really know what it could do, but after 1 minute of this video - EPIC WANT!

  • @deathaura40s thank you :) this is the feeling i want to share with other people!

  • Same chords as mr brightside if my ear is right ;)

  • @FlipstaGIB no, its just the same key note

  • HOW DO YOU MAKE THE WOBBLE.....

  • @AznTuber2000 go to my channel and search for the video "emx dubstep LFO wobble bass tutorial"

  • @xbinaryx Im on it.

  • That was fucking GREAT

  • hey mate thx for this gameplay XD, can i put my own synth sounds into the kaossilator, maybe from massive, and my own effects, or can i just use the standart KORG sounds which are with this machine???

    peace

  • @daltonsilva08 connections are from left to right: power supply, (on/off switch), midi out, midi through, midi in, audio in, ext out, stereo out, headphone out.

if you plug in the power supply and a stereo 1/4" jack cable from the emx to your mixer or audio interface or hi-fi system, thats all you need to do! i bought the emx to avoid the computer software. but thats just my own workflow.

  • GETTING THAT

  • What cables did you use to connect the two devices?

  • @panuco19 EMX audio in => 1/4" jack cable => 1/4" to 1/8" adapter => kaossilator headphone out. you can see it in the video. but you should use a cinch cable for stereo output from the kaoss. instead.

plug it directly into your audio interface or mixer or whatever. i just haven't had enough channels on my interface..

  • could you post the settings for the emx?

  • i know what the kaoss pad is ( i have one ) but is the EMX a synth?

  • @EggletStudios i guess you mean the kaossilator (the kaoss pad is an effect processor, the kaossilator is basically a looper with a sequencer and arpeggiator because you can't edit the sound)

the EMX is a rompler groovebox. that means you have editable synths and drum samples but you can't load your own samples into it. (they are all in it's ROM) in my opinion the EMX is a very underrated groovebox. it can do a wide range of different sounds you would'nt expect. but EMX itself is no synth.

  • dopee

  • this is great mang...im about to get a EMX and hook it up to my kaoss pro. watching this is just making me more excited

  • 1. Do these wprk without plugging them in (just to mess around with)

    2. whats the cheapest to get one for in the UK

    3. How do you get the songs u record onto a pc :DD

  • @WaVeSoundx of course you can use each of these two intruments separately. i bought my EMX from a friend for 400 euro. it is like a new one, just dirtier..

just ask some music nerds, or look for something smaller than ebay..you won't get a good offer there.

i plug all of my instruments into an audio interface, which is connected to my laptop via usb. but you can just plug the EMX in to your PCs microphone jack and record your performance live with any kind of audio editor (f.e. audacity) cheers!

  • Sik love the wobble thankx for the tip

  • how ya gettin that wobble?

  • @unplugyourmind1 @unplugyourmind1 choose your synth part (1-5), set cutoff to about half or less, in modulation section choose destination cutoff and give it a little depth. then you can press "bpm sync" and choose a saw wave (sine would be better, but the emx cant do that). now you can play with the speed and wobble the shit out of it =)

  • @xbinaryx hey like the wobble and realize you described how you get it, iv tried what you said but its nowhere as good as what your getting, could you let me know how you did get it a little more accurately, did you add motion recording to the cutoff speed and the base line did you arpeggio it or use the keyboard to get it that fat. Cheers Man !!

  • @maayaa77 hey man! i made a little tutorial about that, hope this helps you out :) look for it at my channel!

  • dubstep, not dub.

  • @wearurheart completly, this is dubstep

  • I have made some videos with only a Kaossilator. Have a look at my video "Dark Taxi".
