  • love the last one. i wish i could play it ;_;

  • Wow a 3d game!

  • Damn this is Incredible!!

    The First

  • Damn this is Incredible!!

  • i want the first sample game badly

  • @Kosanami I have it :D

  • @ranma44 and i bet you feel special now dont you? =P

  • @Kosanami hell yes :D

  • @ranma44 damn you.

  • How do you make the charcter thing on top of the speach box, where he get the characters? Make them?

  • the first game is EPIC

  • 0:30

HOLY FUCK THAT GAME must HAve ALOT OF SPRITES!

  • God that first one is so "jizz-worthy"...

The day I can make a game like that using VX, I will be god.

  • It may look like a really bitchin 3D Side View Battle System, but in fact it's just a cheap yet pretty convincing trick. The character battler is allready present on the battle-background setup, being just a standing image on the background. When you see the character battler fly across the screen, that's an animation effect which includes an image that stacks on top of the battler on the battle background. There are no sideview-battle system just the original battle system with animation.

  • I don't really care about the mechanics of it all. It looks cool, and I wish I could make that kind of thing. But as I don't have VX anymore, and couldn't be bothered getting a copy of it legit, or illegal, I'll just stick with ogling at it lol.

  • O______O wow, those sprites in the last game are HUGE!! XD

  • were to download?

  • this is a sample game!?

  • How do you do 4:30 ? (weapon skill window)

  • sample games? for the jap. version?

  • the 1st one looked pretty pro

  • The battle system on the first game must've had alot of sprites. Or maybe a

    3D model.

  • that and a really complex script...NAH

  • You're gonna need to go to school anyway, until then, this is fine. You'll learn from the ground up anyways.

  • wow, i want to play dragoness edge and that last sample game so badly! the invas one was very original, but it looked like the developers were quite lazy in that mapping considering there isint really any. bupied book or whatever, was just average, nothing special. jsut same old rtp stuff. world making practice was like widescreen or something (sorry, i dont know may terms!) ive got material quest 0, and it isint too bad

  • that was reale lookingly nic

  • Modern algebra i need your help. Your battle system is horizontal " left to right fighting" but my rpgmvx is looking vertical and does not contain any battle sprites any suggestions?

  • will this get me anywhere. like, i want to create video games, and become a video game creator for a real lifetime job. im 13 now, so it doesnt matter for now. but can anyone tell me if the games i make on this could be transfered to be used on like game systems. also my first question(if this program would help me for lifetime job)

  • at your age, it's a good start, i guess.

to create real games you need to know script languages, but with the knowledge of some script languages you can also create with the rpgmaker some pretty good games.

  • no it won't help, go learn to program

  • im 11 and I started RMing at 10 and Iearned new stuff like summoning and minkoff compatible with ATB!

  • Aim for a higher career... seriously. But if you really want to pursue being a game designer,(I suggest you don't) this program won't help you. It's just for fun. Maybe you will change your mind in a few years on whether you really want to do this or not.

  • I'm 13 too, and I know that this program won't help you because you require scripting and stuff. But you can have this program for fun, I really love it. You can make your own games however you like.

  • tHx!!!

  • If only they let us use more custom stuff (especially tilesets) like they did in the older versions...

  • You can use custom tilesets.

    Resource Manager > Import.

  • its RMVX.. the tilesets are constant.

  • No they're not.

    You can import custom ones.

  • yes you can but you will need to do it manualy by going to your game folder>graphics>system.. you cannot import a custom tileset via Resource Manager.. dont you use VX?

  • that looks way better than english 0_0

  • Damn, that game looks good.. I wish I could download it. ._. I have the english VX

  • its a modified version, using scripts. :P

  • Battle system on the first game looks great, awesome sprite work!

  • AWESOME! nice battle system

  • i think i prefer rmxp over rmxv

  • ich find das video echt gut

    5*

aber wo gibts das samplegame zum download

  • its alrdy out not on pc only ps2

  • Ah... I meant for the PC.

(Sorry for the triple posts, computer messed up on me)

  • Cool... still waiting for RPG Maker 3D to come out though.

  • It's already out.

  • Heh.. He posted that message 3 weeks ago. :D

  • When will it come out?

  • I would assume it can be done by a script. It'd be hard to create graphics for it though :/

  • @modernalgebra Do you have a link to the Japanese Demo Games or do we need to pay?

  • How do u get a battle system like the first games that looks imense

  • Cant wait until this comes out.
