its not "ginko-jin".."ginko" means "Bank" in Japanese and and "jin" means "Person (of some origin/group)"...
its "Gai-koku-jin"
Gai litrly means "Outside"
Koku means "country"
and jin, as said above.
GAI-KOKU-JIN is a formal or polite way to say Foreigner.
Normally, Japanese ppl would say "GAIJIN" in a casual or plain form..
its a bit offensive so they wont say it to you at your face...
