  • I am working on the Baby Booties now to match the little dress. You make it so easy when one can follow along with you. I never heard of the chainless half double crochet until I did the baby dress. I just love that way of making a chain and it's so easy to do. You are awesome.

  • @ZZcript1

No necesitas saber inglés. Los videos de Teresa muestran cada detalle. Busca los videos para "Beginners". Ahí enseña a hacer desde el nudo simple para empezar la cadeneta.

    Saludos.

  • I love crocheting. My mom taught me when I was about 12 or so. I love it cause it's relaxing but I have always made simple things like blankets and scarfs. Your video helped me learn to make booties lol. Also I sat and watched ur video cause I found it very relaxing. Not sure if its the motion or ur voice but I like this one more than others Ive seen which just show u a few chains and then skip to th next part.

  • I appreciate the comment, thank you. :)

  • how can i make the bootie smaller..like with the chains..u crocheted 14 chains in the begining..can i crochet a smaller number so it can come out smaller?

  • Yes, you can modify the pattern for less starting chains and apply the same stitches for the rounded ends. It will be shorter. The same would be for the tongue and edging. Just make less of everything. It will all work together. Maybe you want to try a test bootie first. Sometimes I will think that something should work but it does not turn out so well.

  • How did you attached the yarn when you started the top of the booty. I dont know how to do that, can you show me please?

  • That is a good idea since out of all the video's I have posted, I do not have a detailed vid on attaching yarn.

  • Hi Teresa!

I need your suggestion! My friend is pregnant, but the gender is kept seceret. I actually want to gift her some crochet tops.. What type of tops can i make which can be perfect for both baby girl & baby boy..

    I would appriciate it! :)

  • You can make T-shirt type tops or onsies. There are a lot of interchangalble clothing for infants.

  • hi teresa.. i get so confused how you do the decreasing.. at like 4:22 how do you do that?!? I have no idea

  • Decreasing is joining 2 stitches together, reducing it down to 1. I have a video on decreasing and the decrease section of this booty in slow motion.

  • Hi Teresa, thanks once again i would just want to ask you, the second row of 46 dc shall i still use only the one loop as the previous 46dc row which you have illustrated that.

  • I go through both loops after that round.

  • Thank you so much for your videos. I made my first pair of booties! I also learned how to make the baby beanies which I now donate to the local hospital's neonatal units. Can you do a video for the thumbless mittens for the babies? (just an idea)

Thanks again. I find it so easy following your video vs. written patterns.

  • You are welcome. I have a video in the process of being made for thumbless mittens. I should have it up early this week.

  • hi my name is selene

and i will like to know if you have a video on how to make man slippers on size 8 because i have seen patters but i dont really understand it but the videos help me a lot. well thanks hope to hear from you. have a nice weekend bye.

  • The slipper I just posted can be altered in size to fit a man.

  • In any part of this video did you skip any stiches? Because when you were on the top part of the booty it looked like you were skipping a lot of space.

At about 7:50-8:50, were you joining the two sides toghther?

  • I didn't skip any stitches. I joined the two sides together to form the top section of the booty.

  • hi i am a 14 year old guy my grandmother taught me to crochet when i was 6 so 8 years and it would be really helpful to me if u could show us how to end a row on an afghan and start another? Thanks Also U ROCK i love the booties and your videos are SO EASY to follow thanks comment back plz

  • Thank you, I will keep that in mind. :)

  • i like these booties but your double is out treble UK different stitches is, the pattern you are following did you make up or did you follow a pattern.

  • I made it up.

  • i am from england and your double is our treble would that make a difference

  • If you can decipher the stitches so that they are the same, then it should not make a difference.

  • Thank you so much for this video. Whenever I made booties, they always grew to double the size I wanted to make, now by watching this video, I can get the exact size. Thankyou so very, very much.

  • You are welcome. If you need to make them smaller, just use a smaller hook, like a D hook or E hook.

  • I have posted a Booty Toe Decrease- Slow Motion video. The link is to the right of this video in the video details.

  • hi....iam working on this booty...ane being a fresher, struck up on the decrease part... can u explain it for ne pls?

  • I have a video tutorial on decreasing which might be more helpful. Decreasing is joining two double crochet together at the top, which will decrease it down to one double crochet. When you crochet over it the next round, the joined double crochet is crocheted over the same as an individual double crochet.

  • can it be use as a slipper just like this with out crocheting part 3?

  • I have never done that before. If it were me, I would ask how practical that would be. Babies = wiggly. Socks, shoes and booties come off. Do you plan on doing some sort of tie? Making it smaller so it is tighter and won't come off. Other than those two thoughts, it is something you could make work with some minor alterations and will be cute. Play around with the pattern and see what you come up with. The written instructions are posted on my crochet blog

  • pls share baby booty part 3 ...would appreciate ur efforts
