That bird has EXCELLENT POSTURE.

It looks to me as if you shot the video from near the Main Street Bridge in Ellicott City. That dignified old bird is a neighbor of mine; see him (her?) every now and again while walking the dog on the way to the trolley trail.

I was definitely past Bloede's Dam, but not as far as the swinging bridge. Thanks to the park for putting in the new Ilchester Road bridge and thank you for watching.

Me too! Be a rock star, that is. I enjoy watching the herons where I live, they're graceful and beautiful. You might enjoy my video on the birds of Haines Island park. It will be uploaded soon. Again nice shot of this one.
