When I was four and first tried those cereals I could tell they weren't real berries. But I can see the problem of saying they have something to do with fruit, though. It might trick people to wrongly subconsciously think theyre healthier then the cereal without the word "fruit" in the name. Which is very, very wrong.

I was going by psychology, not logic. Suggestion is a powerful thing. My point is that even though its artificial flavor, people would more easily have an aversion to the chocolate cereal. People drink diet soda thinking its good for them because of the word "diet" in the name, for example.
