I have read the books "the magus of java", and "Nei Kung" both by Kosta Danaos. I meditate an hour a day too which is the start of the training. But if anyone knows more I would great full if they told me.
@WeberMan95 I Might be able to help you, i have been training in mo pai for quite a while now and i am seeing the results of my training, you can also check out yellow bamboo training system, and i have tons of videos to help work out the quirks on my youtube channel for the purpose of helping others because i went through the same things and i had a lot of the same questions
The Chinese had the most technically advanced culture for many centuries. But unlike the European countries, they didn't use it to invade and oppress the rest of the world.
Very astute. The fact that these powers can be attained should tell you something, namely that reality is not what we think it is. Consider modern science. Our level of technology is a reflection of our level of understanding. Like so, the powers are a reflection of one's awakening to what one really is, rather than them being ends in and of themselves. Neither are they necessary to that awakening.
Why do so many people believe that this man can truly do these feats? Has it occurred to any of you that he could be a fake? Chris Angel can perform similar stunts.

What people don't realize is that, there is no secret in Mo Pai nei kung or whatever system you learn. It is all about being sincere. You don't have to travel to see John Chang, you can simply go to your neighborhood Catholic Church and pray. There are plenty of saints who could LEVITATE simply by practicing with sincere love. Nothing is possible without Love.
@mystictouch9 well as a student of chang through proxy and a direct student of Zhou, i can confidently agree with you in terms of its distilled essence i.e fundamentals found in all cultivation methodology etc
But there is definitely hard guidelines, techniques, secret mantra-yantra techniques, breathing exercises coupled with other elixir harness principles. You can't just get the good stuff in american book stores, only the fundamentals essences of prana-qi-falun etc etc

@nazworkshop theres no secrecy out there and mo pai isnt the only art that can teach you what u looking for just practice meditation observe your habits .
what one realizes when they have gone into the deeper aspects of these arts s that u can only attain these kinds of gifts when you have realized the insignificance of them, that cannot be your goal or will in your practices. it comes after the realization of truth. after that these " powers " are insignificant
There are good reasons for why these things are kept secret, especially from the western world. The philosophy of the west is deeply embedded in power and domination and thus most of those who seek to learn simply seek a means to oppress their neighbor in one way or another. They seek to aggrandise themselves with demonstrations, They seek to abuse this power. Untill the average western mind begins to truly seek peace and health and to assist his or her neighbor, these would remain secrets.
How is the "average western mind" going to be able to "truly seek peace and health and to assist his or her neighbor" running up against attitudes like that?
but quite honestly and frankly,i aint got an idea about how to train.

Hello, I have been trying to understand where to study and practice mo pai for quite some time now. I understand I most lkely will never have the chance to practice or learn under Grandmaster Chang, but it is not about that. I wish to better myself through training and I believe I have the discipline neccessary to succeed. Please send me a private message or comment me back with some information on how to start training, whether you show me books, people, etc. Thank you and have a nice day.
@mohseneman Hello. A little bit of both actually. JC was able to do this from his training *however* not everyone who undergoes the same training will be able to do the things he does. Part of it is regular, persistent training- yes- another aspect is a natural, innate ability or aptitude one is either blessed with or not, e.g. out of 100 amateur basketball players who practice every day, maybe 3 are actually NBA material because training is not enough; part is natural talent- it's like that
@mohseneman i'm a novice too :) but there are many 'paths'... choose one that you enjoy doing; there is Spring Forest Qigong, Yellow Bamboo, Mo Pai Nei Kung (different schools, contact Jim McMillan for more info on his), traditional Chi Gung, and many others. Mostly it's finding one, again, that you enjoy doing and will persevere with
Chi is a very powerful energy. My training has lead to intense side effects both good and bad.You must be extremely mindful of your thoughts during training.Any bad emotions you have stored up inside can have a dangerous effect to you.John is one of the few in this world that have managed to successfully bring out the internal energy but no one ever said it was easy, because it isn't.Trust me.
ill put it like this all of you aspiring students are missing the ball. Because your focusing on power. If you want real training like this then you need to find a good taoist sect to train under they will have the full alchemy. Not just chikung or neikung for internal power. Go to a taoist master that belongs to a taoist temple and become a disciple student. Even the mo pai comes from a sect of taoism.
@vibratingstillness i sent you a pm and you didnt respond so i guess your not really down to help people and i emailed the teacher you mentioned and he said he had no idea what you were talking about.
darn it I mean Ron Hoffman, sorry of Temple Style Tai Chi. They have the full alchemy for Nei Kung and it doesn't require the very dangerous Mo Pai practice of combining the Thunder Bolt as that will happen naturally during your ascention process. Anyways I am already as strong as a level 2b and have purified chi and my left and right vibration after only 2 months of full alchemic training. I also don't have the low chi reserve issue as I was attoned and given a vibrational boast.
The sad thing is most ppl will get lost trying to figure out how to train in this. It's nei kung and not all systems are created equal. For the best school and it accepts western students look for nei kung master ron huffman. There you go, go become a real chi master.
I would abandon everything in U.S. and devote my life to this if I could. Life as a college student is so boring. I've got a question, Is the use of a limb necessary when projecting Qi or can one direct it with mere intention?
@neouberx Mere intention, from what i've learned about other Arts.. can't speak for Mo Pai, but in Yellow Bamboo there has been energy projection through the eyes; there is a researcher who claims energy emanates from the eyes (Colin A Ross) who has a youtube channel- look up CARossInst on youtube
@neouberx How about you stay in the US and either contact the only real chi master in the US. Ron Hoffman like I posted before or contact me if you need free advice and free training program that is what cost myself personally a lot of time, money and travel to attain and I offer that to anyone for free.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I am training myself to develop psychinetic abilities, and this will be a life-long journey for me. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of human potential. I am hoping someday to integrate Nei Kung training into my own training. If an opportunity arises that allows me the experience of training in the 1st level of Mo Pai (and then subsequent levels) then I will surely grasp that opportunity & not let go.
